ESPN: Jerry Jones: Add four more teams to the playoffs

Of course he is. He's obsessed with selling the idea of making the playoffs as a mediocre team and getting hot a la the 2011 Giants. Cowboys fans are losing hope with this poorly run organization, but hey, if you can make the playoffs at 8-8, then we've got a chance!

By the way, if there were 4 wild card teams in the NFC, we still would have missed the playoffs the last two years. That just tells you crappy the NFC East has been. In 2011, there were 4 teams with an 8-8 record that missed the playoffs, so I'm not sure how the tiebreakers would have worked out - I don't really feel like working that out.

EDIT: well per MacMahon, we would've missed in 2011 also.

It's not even about getting his team in the playoffs. It's about money. Jerry would be for 26 teams in the playoffs if he could get away with it. He couldn't care less about the quality or the future of the game.

He was asked a hypothetical, he answered it. He wasn't lobbying for it. You people are either purposely acting stupid.... or

And I am no Jerry apologist.
