Rate the last movie you saw

Whiplash 8/10 - JK Simmons killed it.

John Wick 7/10 - Solid action/revenge film.

Boyhood 7/10 - Alright movie with no real solid plot. The characters actually growing up on screen and the it being somewhat relatable made it a pretty good movie though.

American Sniper 7/10 - Bradley Cooper made this movie. Such a sad and disappointing story.

I don't get how a movie about a true story can be anything other than:

On a scale of 1-10

Like it at 10

Didn't like it at 1

It's the essence of a true story. You like the story or you didn't?

A movie is still a movie. I can like the "story" of which the movie is based, but not like how the movie presents or interprets the "story". I may not like the "story", but the movie may do a good job of presenting it.

I like my life. It is a true story. I don't always like it at a 10 and occasionally I only like it at a 1. Most of the time I like it in the 7 to 9 range.

Understood.
I get that.

A great story if not told perfectly is still great IMO.

I take off directors hat for these types. :)

American Sniper - 8.5

Ignore the critics and go see this if you are interested in Seals and War movies. The ending could have gone into more detail but I enjoyed it a lot.

American Sniper 8-10, theater was packed for Thursday 12:30 pm show.

The Interview

It is on Netflix now, so I gave it a watch. About what I expected it to be. A few funny moments.

i caught the moved "Blended " with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore on HBO the other day. I had never even heard of it before but thought it was a good movie! 8 out of 10.

American Sniper: 7/10 - Entertaining film that really pulled me in until the end.
The Imitation Game: 8/10 - Wonderful performance by Cumberbatch. It's a poor man's A Beautiful Mind.
The Theory of Everything: 7.5/10 - I'm intrigued by Hawking and enjoyed the portrayal of his life.
Boyhood: 6.5 - I'm impressed by the filming over 12 years, but the story wasn't interesting to me. The movie felt 12 years long.

Terry Crews little intrusions were cracking me up.

The Interview: 2/10. Fell asleep watching it on Netflix (made me realize the side characters in Pineapple Express is what made the movie, not those two)
