Which is why I stopped going there years ago. I'll spend the extra money at Publix, Target, or Best Buy.

Never heard of Publix, but I actually do a lot of my shopping nowadays through Amazon Prime.

Living in a border town that's (let's put this lightly) a bit behind the times- Amazon Prime is a Godsend.
But I get where you're coming from.

Dez and his buddies were playing a game of "knockout" in the local Wal-Mart. The video isn't from a security camera at all, but from one of Dez's buddies, who was filming as Dez punched an unsuspecting shopper (woman) in the face, knocking her out. That friend has since "betrayed" Dez by selling said video to TMZ. Compared to the Ray Rice video, that would be about, oh...five times worse. God, I hope that's just a really bad thought. He would be done.

True. I typed all that and now rereading it- it feels a bit hollow.
I actually just typed several hundred words delving into modern day politics and the betrayal of our own pillars of our own local communities, but I think I'd probably get some kind of warning from a mod so, discretion being the better part of valor- deleted that mumbo jumbo and will have to suffice to saying:

What can the NFL do to a player who did something 4 years ago and was never charged? Is the NFL going to go back and punish players retroactively?

depends on who you listen to. I have no worldly idea. I would guess if the crime is still punishable by the law than yeah the NFL
can do some thing about it.
