I dont really blame Garrett. We get about what I would expect from a young, barely average head coach. He isn't good enough to out-coach many of the nfl head coaches. You have to hope a guy like Garrett doesnt lose you games and that you have enough players to overcome middle of the pack coaching.

That has and will always be the case with Garrett. He has proven he does not have what it takes. He should count his lucky stars he had Romo to hide his warts. The warts are fully exposed now!!!!

I disagree.

The offense is way too conservative and predictable. It's great when it's working. But when it's not...you have to change things up. Garrett and Linehan can't figure out this concept which is something people should instinctively comprehend.

I'd rather let Cassel get his shots downfield and see what decisions he makes first and then if he's making bad decisions/throws....reign him in or just yank him.

It sets a bad tone for the team as well. You should always play to win instead of playing not to lose.

And it makes me wonder if Garrett will ever be able to develop the replacement for Romo when that time comes.

Hell no, Romo has covered the sins of Garrett for years and he will fully be exposed as the fraud he is soon. He cant develop a game plan let alone a QB.

That's not threatening deep. Going deep twice is not threatening deep. Nobody here besides yourself thinks we threatened deep. End of story.

More importantly, both times we did the passes had just as good a chance if not more of being picked off rather than completed. Dez was playing CB on the 2nd one.

What did you see from our offense today that makes you think we could have scored a TD? Garrett went for it on 4th down early in the game so I don't think we called too conservative of a game.

We had a lead and couldn't stop the final drive.

Man those 3 up the gut runs was all to conservative. Played not to lose.

Cassell is a average to slightly below average at worst NFL QB and we are not getting average or slightly below average production from him.

The problem ain't Cassell.

If Cassel was an average or slightly below average QB he would be a starter, not a backup.

And the fans will have to suffer through it.

I would love to hear what Greg Hardynwas saying on the bench today.

The fact that he's an average to slightly below average QB makes him a problem. With Romo on the field the Cowboys win today by two scores. We can't without solid QB play.

This coaching staff is inept..

Running the ball successfully and throwing a pass, without using the threat of a running game via play-action is utter stupidity. Running only opens up the passing game of the defense thinks your going to run.

Agreed.

There are worse QB's with worse talent around them who have won games this year.

Blake Bortles won 2 games.
Josh McCown won 2 games.
Landry Jones won a game.
Brian Hoyer has won games.

A superbowl contender with Cassel and Weeden are now 0-5.

This is more than just Cassel or Weeden.

So 3 back-to-back-to-back running plays after a blocked field goal isn't on the coaching staff?

That reeks of we don't trust our QB to make a play....it's the complete opposite of when Romo is in. Their never seems to be any balance.
