Fiery, passionate leadership.

Even if not that. At least it shows he still cares. This is a game of emotions and if they don't show frustration at losing, then you have a bunch of complacent losers.

It is a waste of time to direct it at some media person though.

No I'm not, but I could care less what you say. The only fool here is actually believing the media who has made making Dez's life a living hell their personal goal since he came in. From the supposed sideline tantrums, to the supposed Walmart video, to now this and it goes on and on and one. Of course they're gonna report something that dispels their obvious agenda.

Well you are acting like a fool. For one, not all the "media" has tried to make Dez's life a living hell. So because PFT ran a story about some secret video of Dez doesn't mean that now all "media" are bad dudes. There are a lot of stand up media types that cover the Cowboys. So yes, you look foolish trashing the entire media.

Two, you look foolish thinking that if a beat reporter or any other media person called a player or players a n-word, that the rest of the media would completely ignore it out of some sense of brotherhood. That's ridiculously insane. A reporter calling a player a n-word in a lockerroom would be a MASSIVE story.

You just continue to move the goal posts don't you? The bottom line is this, Dez didn't hear the N word being said by JJT, he went off because JJT accused Street of falsely saying that he said it, big difference. Dez is an immature individual and the only reason you're taking up for him right now is because he can catch a football and run fast. I love that about him too but the difference between me and you, is that I am objective and you are not when it comes to the Dallas Cowboy football players.

IM not moving anything. I asked you a question which you completely ignored what I said, which is fine. I am being objective, this is a he said she said kind of argument so at the end of the day none of us here know what happened. Only the players in the locker room. we can argue all we want, I remember back in the day, Michael Irvin seemed to attract a lot of media attention for what he used to do. Look at how we view him now.

Seriously, who told you that? I'm black. I do not tolerate another person-- black, white, yellow-- calling me that word.

How about using the word with an "a" at the end as a substitute to mean a group of people?

JJT is an incompetent hack. I don't even care what was said. If Dez wants to read him the riot act, he can go ahead and do it.

And this line, from Florio, highlights everything that's wrong with sports coverage in general: "It’s also unclear why he’d think a team that had lost six straight games would deserve to not be disrespected." I wonder who the hell these idiots think they are covering NFL teams.

Michael Irvin was an idiot also and the only reason he didn't receive more backlash than he did was because he was winning Super Bowls.

Amazing Reporting.

NFL player upset. It’s unknown who he was upset with, and why he was upset. Story at 11.

Yep and would be a fireable offense and pretty much a career ender - especially as a sports reporter.

I thought that was an odd choice of words as well.

So a team doing poorly somehow gives the media the right to be disrespectful, unprofessional, and the members of said team are just supposed to eat it? That's essentially what he's saying there.

Yeah, it would be the first time in history one black man called another black man the N word.

We know that black men call other black men the N word, but it's not used in the context of a slur, and I've never seen another black man get outraged to the point of wanting to fight another man because another black man called him the N word ending in A. I don't believe JJT said that, and I think Dez was trying to find a reason to blow up at JJT because he's been angry with him for some time.

Entire franchises get disrespected. You see examples of it all the time. Look incompetent and especially lose, you are going to get the snickers and giggles.

I guess it is kind of disturbing when you become a laughing stock to the media.

But there is one way to correct that. Don't lose six games in a row.

But Dallas is not the only team that gets laughed at, prodded, poked and antagonized. And if we get the business to a higher degree, it is because we encourage being relevant and the team itself does nothing to control PR.

Teams like the Buccaneers, Raiders and Jaguars have been the butt of jokes for years. Do you care about that?

I know this.

At the NFL offices, as well as Mara's, Kraft's, Lurie's, etc, they're having a riot of good time every day. I can hear them cackling and clinking tumblers from here.

Dallas makes it so easy for them.

No surprise it was directed to JJT. He's trash and loves baiting athletes, especially Dez. Good for Dez.

Dez can go off on the media whenever he wants and I could less. I feel like they have had it out for Dez since day one. Especially that story about that video that was worse than the Ray Rice one.

I understand talking, and discussing an issue, but reading some of the replies in this thread, most of you come off as teenage females, who are sitting around gossiping about drama in your favorite boy band.

Then i see posts from dudes who are grown men, really behaving as if they are hurt by this. " we need to use up his talent and send him packing". The internet really has messed some of you up.
