I have a feeling Dallas and the NFL are going to do something crazy with the Boys unis on TG. Perhaps a complete new color altogether. The new grey that's been popping up in the NCAA lately might come into play. Now before you throw out the idea, go look at the NFL website on the preview of our game. Panthers all blue, Cowboys grey.

As for the colorblind thing, wow... This PC stuff has to come to an end. It's gone way too far. Did they account for people who are deaf and blind? Where do they draw the line?

Losing more and more freedoms everyday, bro.

Somewhere there is an alternate reality NFL where its the opposite of what it turned into today. There people are not concerned with being PC or safe but dangerous and offensive. The more offensive the better.

Would be nice to see all silver matching helmets with only blue star on shoulder and blue strip down the pants....that would be cool.

Which makes me want to be less and less PC everyday. I don't care who I offend. This society is becoming a big, giant woman part.

I made a joke the other day and used the phrase "trailer park politics". A guy actually looked at me and said, "I used to live in a trailer park, and that's offensive."

This mad rush to a unisexual, socialistic, language-policed group hug of a society is both comical and disturbing.

I just hope that the NFL doesn't turn into college football where some teams have 10 different uniforms.

Spot on! I hate watching these teams in college that have multiple uniforms, using colors that aren't even their colors. Example: Oklahoma State now has like three different helmet stickers to go along with their 5 or six different uniform variations. Texas A&M came out in all white last season against Miss. St. They took their famous aTm sticker and made it look like a mirror or chrome color. Couldn't even see the dang logo. That goes with every stupid university that thinks they need to wear a mat black helmet with a dark logo. You can't see jack squat of the helmet logo unless you're standing on the actual sideline with the team.

I won't even get into the Arizona St. unis other than their shiny stitched on pitch forks on their pants, with their mirror like face masks. What's with all these goofy mirrored face masks? The Tampa Bay Bucs now have them. Putrid!

I hate Alabama, but love their uniforms. Give me Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas, Georgia, Penn State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Stanford, Ohio St., etc. Some of these teams still on occasion will wear an alternate uniform, but they have never completely left what made them original and all great in their own way.

I hate it with college, but I get it. Oregon started getting top recruits from all over the country, stealing right from under the nose of the big powerhouses. Then it started working for other second-tier schools, so many of the big dogs started doing the same. My sincere hope is that this is a fad that will wear off, but that's probably not going to happen. These are little boys they have to recruit after all.

The NFL has no such excuse. These are drafted and paid players that don't give a rip about the uniform when they become free agents. The NFL needs to protect its traditions and stop pandering to casual fans all the time.

I love how you combined three things you probably don't like and used them to describe something completely unrelated.

It's comical and disturbing to me that you have a problem with someone taking issue with the nonsense stereotypes and stigmas you obviously employ when you could just as easily make your your point without pissing any people off.

But hey, boys will be boys right?!

Notice it's all the old posters that have been stuck in their ways for 50 years (and fear change) that don't want to see something a little different for once. :muttley:

Notice all the millennials that are still trying to shed their peach fuzz that want to change something that has more meaning than they'll ever know. Sorry, you just don't mess with tradition. I can stomach a couple of small tweaks, but trying to change it all up just because teams like the Jags who change their uniforms every 3 to 4 years to cater to their loser fan base is pathetic.

You mad, gramps? ;)
Nobody's talking about a permanent change. We just want to see something different than our civil war era uniforms every once in awhile. You remember the civil war. (Burn)

Thin-skinned society. Probably should just ban all jokes. I hear clowns and stand up comedians are getting upset. Uh oh, I just said clowns.

I have to admit, I really like the Jet's uniforms last night. I wish they would keep those or at least just add white pants to the rest of it. I loved the shiny green on their helmets.

I can't tell anyone else how to speak and I wouldn't. However, people have a fundamental human right to stand up for themselves if they feel your language is disparaging to them. To just wash over their objections as simply 'PC police' is ignorant

Why can't we do all navy blue? That'd be way doper. Navy blue with the silver helmets? Yes, please!!!!

One... because dope is bad. I've been off it for weeks; although this season might push me right back to it.
Two... because the Panthers will be all blue and it would be too difficult to tell which team was which.
