At some point the NFL will wise up and make a straight policy of, "if you fail a drug test of any kind, your career in the NFL is done forever". Set the tone and players will change their attitude. Most probably don't take it serious and know, that they will get chance after chance after chance. These are grown men, not kids, they know right from wrong. Time to take off the kid gloves.

NFL players are easily replaceable. The game will continue if the Gregory's, DLaw's, Gordon's etc are not playing.

This makes way too much sense.

yeah! thats exactly what i was thinking. bosa has drugs problems too. so do they go buckner or just start the season hurting at rush. i wish the draft was tonight.

Buckner is better suited at 3-4 DE and maybe 4-3 DT. Not the edge rusher Cowboys need.

Unbelievable.

Gregory is completely unreliable.

Hardy flamed out.

Now we add a drug suspension to the fact that Lawrence had back surgery in the off-season.

What's next?

Elliott at #4. Oh the inhumanity.

he can play anywhere on the line..saying that draft buckner move Crawford to LE for a few weeks.

This d-line has more drug suspensions this off-season than sacks last year.

Not too many teams can say that.

With 5.02 40, he needs to be closer to QB to be most effective rushing the passer. Buckner would be playing for Marinelli, there are certain traits an end will require, especially for the best edge rusher. Buckner does not have enough quick twitch or the ability to bend off the edge, especially a 4-3 RDE.

So how many times did he have to actually fail a drug test to be suspended ?

My gosh how do we get stuck with so many losers on this team?

Screw it, let's go 100% offense and outscore everyone....will at least be fun watching 45-42 games. Tunsil in the first, best OL in the league gets better. Best WR in 2nd, and best RB in the third....or best receiving TE and then RB in 4th. Sign whatever def scrubs we can for DL. Be this decade's Miami Dolphins of the 80's or Rams of the late 90's early 2000's.

This makes no sense except for y'all haters who are jealous of nfl players money.

Not jealous of money. Upset at different standards. If I fail a drug test...just one...I lose my job. No person responsiblity in my eyes from them. They cost themselves money, their teammates money, the owners money, if being suspended takes them out of the playoffs. Selfish attitude IMO.

Simply put... YOU are easily replaceable. NFL players are not.
