Literally the entire league for 5 rounds.Sometimes I wonder about scouting reports honestly. I wonder how you measure if a person is going to be great. I guess you can do it sometimes with guys like Peyton Manning, but who missed on Tom Brady?
I agree! It is the one trait I saw in Goff that lead me to say he was #1 qb in this draft and Wentz was number 4. Goff didn't show it in the first preseason game though...I'm a big believer that the top QBs are able to slide in the pocket to buy time. They don't have to be runners, but that sixth sense to me is one of the top traits I look for in a young QB. Brady, Rodgers, Romo, Ben, etc all have it in spades.
And last night, Dak showed it. He'd roll right. Slide left. The play where he sensed the tackle being beat impressed me. Young QBs are processing so much new info that it's difficult to see this trait early on.
Throw on top the fact his cool demeanor, ability to generate points, mobility, accuracy, ability to throw ANY throw (back shoulder, screen, crossing route, bomb) and I'm just in awe.
Who knows what the future has in store. But we literally could not have asked to see anything more impressive than he has displayed.
I really think Goff will blossom. I'm rarely wrong. hahaha.. jk.I agree! It is the one trait I saw in Goff that lead me to say he was #1 qb in this draft and Wentz was number 4. Goff didn't show it in the first preseason game though...
It will be interesting to see if he does because it looked like elite pocket awareness to me in college.
Yessir! If he continues this trend, we clearly have our future QB and can start to focus next year's draft on seriously loading up on the defensive side of the ball. Our offense right now is all worldly and that Alfred Morris grab was genius.Dak is already paying dividends if Dallas doesn't have to trade a 4th or 5th for a vet backup.
That's a tangible return.
And then of course, if he develops and they actually think he is the future, then saving in draft picks, cap space, and actuall dollars are enormous.
All of those saying can later be us d to build that defense and the team around him.
One step at time though.

A Biz Markie reference. Definitely worth a like..lolThat post gives me the vapors because it's potentially true.
It could be enormous for this franchise.
LMAOO!It was all good until you compared him to McFlabb. Now I will forever hate him
Zeke is the FREAK & Dak is the MACK!
Just for you. One of my favorite classics. It came out while I was stationed in Germany. (& set Europe on fire)You had me until this right here. Sorry, but nobody is taking that title from Mark Morrison.
It's a fair comparison. As much as I hated McFlabb, dude was a beast on the field.
How is it so vastly different? Linehan is still working his magic. What changed?
Let me answer my own question...
Exit the RBBC lameness that haunted my soul last year and the dregs that comprised it (DMac & Pantie Thief).
Enter some real RB talent... (Morris & the FREAK)
Now suddenly the play calling looks different and dynamic.. Much like what we had in 2014 with DeMarco. HMMMMM
i must've missed that.
I agree with you !!!! Dallas got the best QB and got him in the 4th round !!!I believe so.
Did I believe so on draft day? No.
Did I believe he was a steal when we got him where we got him? An unequivocal yes.
Shut the front door. Don't look any further. Develop this guy and then watch him shine when Romo bows out.
He reminds me of a young Donovan McNabb. So majestic in his flow. So cool under pressure. So fluid in leading his team into the end zone by any means necessary...
Sure. he hasn't really seen much in terms of complex schemes and teams game planning for him (yet)... But, on the flip side, no rookie QB has come in and taken the game but storm from snap 1 since... who? I can't recall the last time.
This guy looks like the prototypical beast at QB. Sure, some will say JaMarcus Russell was an all star in the preseason. JRuss also had some not so prototypical qualities about him (ie. small hands, weight issues, questions about his ability to progress through multiple reads).
I'm so excited about this dude folks.
Zeke is the FREAK & Dak is the MACK!
Lastly, I am going to go off of the script (because you know I like to) and say Showers would actually look very good if he didn't have 3s all around him. I like Showers too.
my final 1/2/3 RBS would be Zeke, Alfred, and Darius. Period. The rest can fight for #4 if we keep 4.Zeke hasn't had a single carry yet. Morris may be the starter on day one. He should be if Garrett's claim that the best player plays. If Zeke doesn't tear it up the last two games, I would definitely start Morris. Jackson is an after thought competing with DMac and Dunbar for a roster spot.

HAHHA... Like you're waiting to be right. Man quit trippin Catch. Come take this seat on the Dak train next to me. I'll share my popcorn with you.I personally liked Prescott coming out but I viewed him as only having the upside to be a backup. So far I'm wrong.
