I guess that's why some of the homers ganged up on some in an attempt they thought were controlling but it doesn't work because it's not up to them to decide.

I guess the official sites prob draw more of these types . IDK. Sites like these appear to be more welcoming and under control and possibly not attracting all of those types since it's not the official site?

Dude, your bias is shaping what you see. The haters ganging up on others was much more frequent. For instance, if anyone said anything about Jerry or Garrett that was positive, or opposed a hateful opinion with facts that disprove that opinion, they'd jump right in there, calling them "Homers" and such.

While the like button would be nice, what would be nicer is to have alerts in the upper right of the page show up, but NOT have the site email me every time someone sneezes. Is there a way (that works) to turn off all email from the site except from the admins?

I had a very good friend there and the nonsense that went on was unbelievable. They used to take votes between them, the mods,and that would decide if l were to be banned for life. Some funny information was passed on. You would not believe how petty grown up people can be. With me, most of the time l was only kidding. Heck, a lot of folks have very thin skin.

I'm normally the least likely to engage with new posters, because they're beneath me. But I hung around because I felt really bad about Sarek getting benched from his own welcome thread and then the whole like button thing.

We've got mods and admins like any forum, though it's hard to tell if we've changed our titles. I'm a mod, but everybody likes me best. Except for Sam, and nobody cares what Sam thinks because he's so fat.

You can ask any staff member for assistance and we'll be either able to help you or forward your request to an admin if our mod powers are not sufficient. Reality and WG are admins, if it's not clear from the titles.

I'm a mod here too. I also have admin rights, but they just don't realize that yet.
