That last td play. I was wondering why offensive pi wasnt called.

I thought that a defender has a right to his zone. So why was it legal for a tight end to go right through a defender on a pick play?

Also, why wasnt there an excessive celebration penalty with obj doing the camera pose while cruz dances?
As long as they're not taunting or delaying the game they're allowed to celebrate. I don't like it either. But it's still legal.

Re watch those 2 catches in the middle of the field. He dropped another going across the middle on Caliborne covering. His big play was when no one touched him on the jam and Eli hit him wide open. Dez had of 5 targets as jump balls in the end zone and another at midfield. He had no routes I saw in live coverage over the middle

Don't you know? Dez is so good that he can go up everytime in double-coverage and come down with it. He's not playing against other professionals, so he can make that play 9 out of 10 times...

Why even bother putting him in motion and have him run drag routes over the middle to try and scheme him to get open?

Oh you mean the two guys that routinely get open and make clutch plays? Don't get me wrong, the ball needs to go Dez's way more often, but he needs to start giving the QB a reason to.

You mean that clutch walk in TD drop from Beasley or the clutch TE screen and 2 yard out route to TE that has been a 8 year staple?

Def Coordinators will leave those 2 guys open on routes like that all year, and you will see similar results if no adjustments are made to get the ball into someones hands who can break tackles and run over a couple of DBs

I did not bet on this game because I never bet the first half of the season. But I did predict the Cowboys would lose and that offense would do good but the defenses would ultimately lose the game.

Alright. Fair enough. So out of curiosity, why are you pissed the Cowboys covered?

Our number 1 players didn't make plays today like Greg Hardy didn't make plays last year...

I guess number 1 players simply don't perform when in Dallas... I wonder why...

cowardly coach
lol. A coach who simply doesnt get it. This is no Tom Landry or Jimmy Johnson. He is only tbe front man for Jerry. Its not his fault. I think he is verybright and understands his role. He is taking ole Jerry boy for every penny he can and knows he is destined to fail.

Thank you for the kind words in your edit. But I wouldn't use the word "coward" for keeping a head coach. Trust me when I say I have never been on the Garrett bandwagon. A LOT is wrong with this team and it trickles down from the top. But there are no cowards on this team. Here's your ball back.
I mean cowards as in the way the organization is run (Jerry jones). There's no way a modern day NFL coach keeps his job as long as Garrett with his average resume.

Yeah, Beasley had a bad, costly drop. He also made up for it all game long.

And that is the segue to the point. Other receivers are put into positions to use the entire field and not just 15 yards of the sideline for a 50/50 or 60/40 jump ball.

No slants, no motion, no slot, rub routes.

anyone who watches teams like Sea, Saints, Det, Indy, NE, GB, see that they dictate who they want to get the ball by the route and WR placement. Its bland *** football and only works when you are road grading people with the run and get up on a lead (ie 2014) otherwise games get closer than they need to be and the weak *** defense gets exposed

Not a coaching issue. It's the owner/GM.

20 years of the same thing.

same team different year. same sorry *** game plan. we are suppose to have the best offensive line in football and can only manage three yards a carry throw the ball 45 times with a rookie qb that just spells a loss from the start. also garrett again sets this team up to lose again. guy does not know how to win without romo bailing him out. this is going to be a long year to watch this team again. by midseason will have to start looking forward to the draft again.

And 2 more drops as well

However, Lord knows he was targeted enough across the middle to try.

Again, If you target Beasley and Witten 26 times in a game, you are not scaring the Def Coordinators

Thats silly, Giants did a good job covering him, when he had 1 one 1 opportunities Dak went to him. You all overreact like crazy. You think its just a coincidence that Dez production has dropped since Romo has been hurt?

I agree. But I also think our play design must suck. Hopkins did fine last year with nobodies. Frustrating complaining about an offense that is nothing without an elite qb literally calling the plays at the line.... At least we know why he needs all that time at the line

Like I said, the best game I ever saw Dez play with was the Denver game when Callahan started using him in drag routes and running routes from the slot, from motion all game long.

We are still basically in TO-bashing Garrett playbook, lack of motion and slot routes era, with Linehan calling plays from the same playbook.

This game in reality was a mirror image of countless games with Romo out there, except Romo normally would have handled the last two minutes better and done his magic to pull out a win..

I honestly saw no real difference between the offense of Romo or Dak, other than the amount of times we moved the pocket with Dak.. Outside of that, it was the same exact passing routes..

He couldn't get a position coaching job in the rest of the NFL, but the $20 millionaire + is still learning here. Can't wait to here about all the positives from yet another cowardly loss.

The cruz dance was fine. I thought that the NFL outlawed other players contributing to a player's celebration.
I remember when the Cowboys got penalized in 2010 against the Titans when another Cowboy joined Williams with the hook em horn celebration.

I'm not pissed. I just find it strange that Vegas for the most part conveniently screws the public over.

Let's see what happens in tonight's game. Patriots are 6.5 point under dog. The majority of people are taking AZ because Pats are missing Gronk and Brady. So I would't be surprised if Pats conveniently cover. Pats probably lose by a fieldgoal and if they win well they obviously cover.

I believe after the first TD attempts to Dez that ended with drop, it was first down. I think we ran on second down up the middle, the same exact play we do every time. We got stuffed and put in a third and long...

That's our MO... If their is a mistake, play conservative the very next play..
