Cook traded to Pats

Good player but I think it became obvious Michael Thomas was Brees go to guy and the Saints probably feel as if Brees can make another WR.

In one of the deepest drafts in memory the Pats have traded away a 1st, 3rd, 4th and downgraded their 2nd. You can't knock the rings but maybe the Pats (who haven't drafted as well as people think they do) have decided to minimize their opportunities to make mistakes ha.

So, they have no picks in the 1st and 2nd round this year?

And Gilmore signing.

Looks like they're all-in on Brady's farewell tour.

Yep. The Patriots are really loading up for another SB next year. Both Gilmore and Cooks. Outstanding. They still have the Draft..Garroppolo and Belichick. Oh yeah, and that boy named Brady!!WTH!

Cooks is only 23 and is coming off back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. He's under contract in 2017 and has a 5th year team option in 2018.

If you are going to burn draft picks on a player, this is the kind of guy you do it for, holy crap.

Side note, Brady had the best passer rating in the league on go routes in 2016, and that's when he was throwing to Chris "who?" Hogan as his main deep target. Cooks ran a 4.3 40. So... yeah.
