lol at the Claiborne love here.

He was top 15 in CB rankings. Injury issues were obviously an problem, but when you remove nearly the entire secondary and address nothing other than a true JAG from Philly, this is a problem.

Someone should have been brought back on a short deal. Right now, this secondary is filth.

- Byron "Where's the ball?" Jones

- Orlando Scandrick who is on his last legs

- Anthony Brown, second year guy who has a ceiling of MAYBE a #2

- Nolan Carroll, go to the Philly board and see what they have to say about him

Looks like Dak will have to put up 30-40 points next year. This is looking like another 2013. Romo will be smiling on his way out.

The secondary clearly wasn't the problem last year. They played very well given the fact we had one of the worst pass rushes in the league. Now we're going to have a much tougher schedule and a much tougher division with a secondary, as of right now, that will consist of a bunch of guys who have never played together and who very well may be playing their first year in the league.

This defense has been decimated this offseason. Mainly the backfield. While none of these players that were lost were great players. They were the best players Dallas could find over the last several seasons. To believe that better or equal replacements will be found between now and next season is wishful thinking.
Decimated. Really means reduced by 10 %. Not that bad!!

Exactly right.

He's played in 47 out of 80 games.

If the Cowboys gave him a 2 year $12 mil contract this place would have melted down.

It's crazy that he ended up playing 47 games while Newman ended playing 72 games during the same span. If anyone predicted that, they really should own the internet.

Counting on rookies to make immediate impacts is foolish. And at this point, we might be counting on multiple rookies to have to be immediately impacts in our secondary.

I was all for redoing the secondary. I had no issue with Church being sent packing and one or Carr or Claiborne. But right now, CB is much worse than what we had at CB at the end of the year. Carroll is a turd. And now you've put yourself in a situation where you have to force picks at CB and multiple picks at that AND then not only use multiple picks at CB but have them all hit and be impact players immediately.

That's about as risky as it gets.
and their draft position is what 28 ? so they have to get all their picks at bottom of each round, not like last year picking
at # 4.

This is wrong, Nicky Boy. Fans, by and large, are happy with the moves, you dolt.
Well he may be looking at twitter or instagram or something else, I doubt he is reading here.
Bottom line is some fans like it and they were jags easily replaced with a magic wand lol.
And others dont like all at once, or wanted to keep 1 or 2 of them, it varies depending on where your reading.
I fall in the all at once category, seems like a lot to replace in a year they draft at 28, and dont do anything in FA except
the ex eagle cb lol.

That's what the early reports are offering... two years... $12 mil.

Unless I missed something, wasn't the 2 years, $12MM figure what essentially Carr's contract with the Ravens will be? I haven't seen anything rumored about Claiborne's contract.
