The Cowboys would love Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett, whom they see as the “war daddy,” but he likely becomes a top-10 selection. That makes it likely that Missouri defensive end Charles Harris, UCLA defensive end Takkarist McKinley, Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey or Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson becomes a Cowboy by the end of Thursday.

Harris is going top 20. It's been talked about all over twitter and the radio the last couple of days with rumors as high as top 10.

Wonder if Dallas was one of teams contacted at the end the draft to move up to 12? And what the asking price is? Sure would love to have Barnett.

Unfortunately...
this years 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Or maybe
This years 1st, 2nd, and 2018 2nd.

And even that would be them giving us a discount on the various draft charts

So...no, I think you'll agree its way too expensive.

If the Browns take a QB who has one season of starting experience at 1, may God have mercy on his soul.

Talking about draft rumors, the buzz tonight is that Conley will be picked in the 3rd round (intel from multiple league front offices). If we take McDowell or Takk at 28, do you take Conley at 60 knowing there's a good chance he won't be there when we pick again. The kid was a top 15 pick 48 hours ago, and has no past disciplinary issues. As long as we've done our due diligence and feel he's innocent, I have no problem with it.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, got in late on this thread.

I tell my investigation team that if I draft an accused rapist, he dam well better be innocent.

I tell the investigators that their jobs are on the line with this one, if they botch it, they are all fired.

Harris is going top 20. It's been talked about all over twitter and the radio the last couple of days with rumors as high as top 10.

SI.com’s Chris Burke & Emily Kaplan

Date of Mock: April 26
Pick: Missouri DE Charles Harris
Comment: “Harris could be a fit for teams in the first half of Round 1, so landing him at 28 would be a boon for Jerry Jones & Co. The talented Missouri pass rusher profiles physically as more of a 3–4 OLB, but he had significant college success playing off the edge in a 4–3. One thing’s for sure: Dallas defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli would find a way to maximize Harris’s quickness off the edge.”

CBSSports.com’s Dane Brugler

Date of Mock: April 26
Pick: Harris
Comment: “Smart money has the Cowboys selecting a cornerback or pass rusher here. Harris is the type of edge threat who can thrive under Rod Marinelli's leadership.”

CBSSports.com’s Rob Rang

Date of Mock: April 24
Pick: Harris
Comment: “The Cowboys' gambles on recent character concerns at pass rusher have not paid off and adding a playmaker to this unit should be a top priority. Harris possesses the burst, bend and lethal spin move to wreak havoc off the edge and, after only joining the sport as a junior in high school, he possesses the upside for defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli to develop.”

28. Dallas Cowboys
Adoree' Jackson, CB, USC. Although still unrefined in areas as a cover man, Jackson is a premier athlete with the versatility to help on special teams and grow into one of the Cowboys' top defensive players.

so Mayock picks Harris at 11th overall and Takk to the Skins.Jackson at 18.that could be a nightmare scenario for us.Watt goes to miami at 22.Tre white is our pick and i dont like him at all.
Mayock is good but I am telling you if Hooker is available at the Commanders pick they are running up to the podium to put the card in.
