We already have corners who were on the team last year like McFadden and seamster. That's like 8 corners. And we have 5 safeties. Seems like more than enough

But as they say "talent acquisition is a 365 day a year business."One or 2 injuries and you have a problem. Why not bring I some competition and let the best men win. Now I know the team says they pick UDFAs using their board but according to this their saying that there were no remaining DBs that they liked? And that wouldn't want to come here seeing that there were jobs to be had? I just hope we don't think the safety position is fixed just yet.

So, we got Skipper? Could be a Bell replacement.

Dan Skipper - T - Razorbacks
Per TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, Arkansas junior T Dan Skipper "is a lot more than just a big body at tackle rather a surprisingly fluid athlete who can block the edge or dominate run blocking."

The analyst slapped Skipper with a Rds. 3-4 grade. We think Skipper has been done a favor by Arkansas coaches, who shifted him from LT to RT this season, not because he can't handle the left side effectively in the SEC, but because he's likely ticketed for the right side in the pros. Skipper is a nasty run blocker who sometimes has problems playing low enough to stop fluid edge rushers.

Dan Skipper - T - Razorbacks
Arkansas senior T Dan Skipper "has strong hands and does a good job of getting his feet into position to seal off defenders," notes NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein.

"Skipper will move from the left tackle spot to the right tackle spot this season, and that position could be his final destination in the NFL," Zierlein wrote. "The Hogs played bully ball last year and are likely to show more of the same with their loaded running back spot and Skipper fits right into the mindset." Zierlein grades Skipper as the eighth-best offensive lineman in the nation. "While his height will give him some issues against smaller, dip-and-bend edge rushers, he has the athleticism needed to play the position on the next level," Zierlein wrote.

Him and Myers are interesting UDFA pickups.

It's not up to us who we bring in. Maybe the udfa don't think they'll make the team and choose a team with more cb holes?

I was worried about his 6'10 height. I hope he has a lot of knee bend, or he's going to be eaten alive by smaller, speedier pass rushers.
But he is an intriguing prospect and, if he proves he can play, makes me feel better about us not taking an OL in the draft.

Nice I really like the Thomas, Jarwin, and Skipper pickups
I wanted Boulware, English, Braden, and Cox Jr too though

I think he might make for an intriguing option in the right tackle competition or maybe a swing tackle option.
