problem is that only 3 or so players are suspended?
so what real incentive does the nflpa have?

Waldo,

That's just the suspended guys not to mention the dudes who are currently in the program who are about to be suspended that we don't know about. Isn't it you test clean for 3 months and you move back down in steps or something? I vaguely remember reading something about that.

All you really need to do is start taking creatine a week before your test, day of start dilution with gatorade.

Something to do with creatinine, specific gravity or something.

Not like i'd know or anything.

i suspect they titrate creatinine to make sure the urine has not been diluted.
then he can dilute with gatorade all he wants.
just wild guess.

interesting, you would suspect he would have been told that...

is the reason for the creatine to get certain amount of nitrogen containing compounds in the system so a dilution cannot be detected?

No, you excrete levels of creatinine in your urine, these levels will usually flag for dilution if they're under a certain amount.

Creatinine is a byproduct of creatine, so you're really just elevating your excretion levels to "normal" amounts when you dilute.

Gatorade and/or b-vitamin so you aren't just giving them straight tap water.

this should be well known and yet the colleges athletes were just caught with the diluted samples.
what is wrong with them.
their life depends on it.

Well this won't take long to get approved. It's become blatantly obvious in the NFL these days, once Jerry gets on board and starts to push something, it gets done pretty quickly. I expect the same here!
Here here, Aven!

Screw the Rams to LA, and Oakland to Vegas... get us Randy back, Jerry! Git 'er done!

What's funny is not a lot of guys get High and beat their girlfriend but Budweiser is a sponsor so here we are.

Honestly when I'm drunk I care so much about the Cowboys and football but when I'm
High I think football is kinda silly and it doesn't matter who wins. This is a cultural issue rather than a scientific or moral issue
Are you high or drunk now?

Back in my reckless teenage days, if stoned, I would drive exactly the speed limit. If drinking alcohol I would drive way over the speed limit.

Last time I checked the owners voted. If it is polarizing is besides the point when it only takes 17 to pass it.

And they can amend the CBA at anytime. It remains negotiable between now and 2020.
The owners want to use this issue to get concessions from the players. The owners care most about money. That's why they gave in on things like practice time, because it didn't directly cost them money.

If they really want an 18 game season, they'll likely try to use the weed issue to get it.

It would be easiest to just loosen the threshold for a failed test. They went from 15 units to 35 units a few years ago. Bump it to 100 units, and few would fail and the public backlash would be minimal as compared to completely eliminating the testing. They probably won't do that because then they lose their leverage with the NFLPA.

The owners are likely content with the current CBA. If there is not something the owners want now, then I see them waiting until the next CBA.

If the NFLPA really wants the change, they would likely need to offer something significant including an extension of the current CBA with the new concessions to the owners included.

Just my opinion.

That rings a bell, to be sure -- I've done the same thing in my youth. Nowadays, I drive about 5 miles over the limit when I'm sober and am never either drunk nor stoned while driving, although if I were, I'd be much safer if stoned than drunk. That's simply the way it goes with most everyone.
