Yup. 9 WAR was the baseline.

He was on track for 45/25, .330-345 avg. .450 or so OBP, 120 runs, 100BB (~20 IBB), 1.200 OPS, ~200 OPS+, ~170 hits, 35 dbls, 125 RBIs (maybe a little less, but with the way Cam is hitting as well, as Simmons, plus the return of Esco, a real possibility).

Just ******* horrible.

Brutal loss.

I've had issues with my UCL and it's been a slow healer. But of course I'm not anywhere close to being the athlete Trout is! LOL!

I'm betting even without surgery, he ain't going to be swinging the bat as he does normally in two weeks.

So astros go up 2-0.....then in 1 inning the twins go up 8-2......then in the 8th, the astros score 11 runs to go up 13-8, and added 3 more in the 9th to win 16-8.....what a game for the live fans......

It's an impressive lineup... Arguably the best from top to bottom the Astros have ever had when you look at everything combined– Extra base hits, average, ability to draw walks, ability to limit K's.

A far cry from the lineup of two years ago that seemingly hit double-digits in strikeouts on a daily basis. They either homered or K'ed.

Man, my Yankees have been pretty enjoyable to watch this year. Gardy's on fire and Judge is just a monster. Pitching has been a real pleasant surprise overall.

Astros destroyed the Twins for three days... Setting a franchise record for runs scored.

My poor Angels are really pathetic, yet we're still hovering around .500.

What's even more sad is our fans at my Angels site still calling us the "Team of Destiny"

Friggin DisAstros keep on trucking! Here in Houston, if you buy a mattress from a certain store, you get it free if they win the series. I might just go buy two for the heck of it

LOL!

Hey, for what that franchise went through... Well over 300 losses in 3 straight seasons. They ditched veterans, hoarded draft picks, refused to overpay for free agents and it was painful. It's about time some sun shined on them.

Pujols got number 600 last night, good for him. Our fans are slowly liking him again, and don't view his contrac tin the same vein as Gary Matthews Jr, Vernon Wells, CJ Wilson, and Hambone, like we used to. We just hope he retires soon. His plantar fasciitis has slowed him so much. And is static. But his contract is backloaded, so he'll probably just ride the DL eventually. He is a warrior and a huge leader for our club. Trout adores him as he did Hunter.

Anyways, read an article on how the repaired Trout's UCL. They used anchors and a supporting band in addition to suturing his ligament. This procedure makes the UCL four times as strong, pre-injury. Simba (Simmons), our gifted SS), had this same procedure done last season and was back in 4 weeks. Trout still leads baseball in f/bWAR and many other important categories.

This injury is such a shame, but if he comes back sooner, rather than later, it's good for the Halos, as well as baseball.
