You are trying to state the NFL has more on this than the actual authorities do.

Again, like I asked others, point out EXACTLY what you think the NFL has. Until then, the NFL has no grounds to suspend from everything we know, from the evidence of her lying, to the authorities finding nothing.

So, please point it out. Also, understand how the league works in this regard before hopping in.

You seem to be the one lacking understanding of how the league works.

The league does not have to meet a legal standard. The league also very likely does have more information than the authorities. The league is not really bound by external pressures that a prosecuting attorney would have. If prosecution thinks, given the police report and interviews, that they aren't going to be able to win a case, they stop investigating and move on. The league doesn't need to meet a legal standard. They don't need to worry about how a jury might view the case. They don't have any of those constraints.

Also, all of you crying "but but he wasn't convicted" need to zip it. That's not the standard. A huge % of domestic violence cases never lead to prosecution (or conviction). Domestic abusers get away with it over and over and over. So let's not play the "no conviction" card. Y'all are better than that (unless you support beating women, then you aren't).

Correct me if I am wrong, but for domestic violence, isn't the suspension a mandatory 6 games minimum? If it's for failed drug test, a four game suspension handed down after the 2nd or 3rd failed test?

I suspect it would fall under conduct unbecoming which doesn't carry any real set number of games, right?

This is how it would go down IMO if it happens. NFL can't prove the DM happened and would find themselves in court if they tried to suspend him 6 games for a DM that was thrown out by police. But to save face, they say his behavior was over the top (pulling the girl's shirt down included) and hit him with a 2 game suspension.

I believe that NFL fans in general and Cowboys fans in particular will become the jury sealing the NFL's fate if the they cross the line here by suspending Zeke. The league better thread lightly on this one and not come to a finding that meets a political motive.

So stupid, was he even convicted of anything? How can the NFL be above the law?

They are not above the law. They are not held to the same standards though, as they are not throwing people in jail, just determining what their employment status is with their private business.

I heard Mara and DB Cooper have been setting up Zeke for the past year specifically for the first game against the Giants since he destroyed them in the first two games.

In the meantime Jerry, Blandino, and Santa Claus have already discussed when and which penalties to call against the Giants to counter the suspension.
Lets ask @aria since he seems to believe there is something there.
I believe you're good at lying and putting words in my mouth. All I ever said was we MAY NOT KNOW EVERYTHING. Comprende?

If they suspend him and all they have is what we know then I'll be livid but for now there has been nothing except a dragged out investigation that is 100%, without a doubt, due to Mara, Goodell and Superman.

Is there anything else you'd like to say for me?

The no conviction card is pretty powerful. The fact he didn't get convicted and there was little to no evidence to lead to his conviction is why the NFL couldn't and wouldn't suspend him for 6 games.

Fixed it for you.

As much as I'm morally opposed to what Zeke did, I don't see how you can suspend him for that. The woman didn't complain, and she didn't file any charges against him.
This is REALLY a fishing expedition and an exercise in arbitrary rulership. I've pretty much been on Goodell's side. But if he suspends Zeke based on something as relative as "perception" without any hard evidence, I'm going to be among the last people to jump off his bandwagon.

I agree with you, my point was that he actually did that...if you suspend him for the other one that was completely proved to be false then go to hell NFL.

Respectfully,

Personally, I think if there is any discipline, it will be from the boob thing.

The league DOES NOT have more information than the authorities. Are you daft? The authorities most likely discussed, in-depth, with the witnesses, the girl, and even Zeke - this is more than what the league could do. At most, they got word FROM the authorities on all the details the authorities have.

As for the league and legal standards - again, players have protection. They have a contract and money on the line, suspensions must hold up and there needs to be good reason behind a suspension. You can't just suspend a player for no reason, so I will ask you this yet again; either provide something we have out there right now or what you believe the NFL could have found in all of this that could get Zeke suspended.

"A huge % of domestic violence cases never lead to prosecution"

And in this case, there was no domestic abuse, genius. I just provided you all the evidence on this, SHE LIED THERE IS PROOF OF THIS.

Instead of your babbling, go read up on this investigation and all of the evidence.

This sums up everything that's wrong with emotion-based methodology. Logic be damned.

News flash, what you "think" or "feel" is not evidence or fact.

I think that's why rumors are a couple of games and not 6 or more that comes with a domestic violence finding.

NFL can nail him for that. But their suspicions he did commit DM coupled with his boob show situation and they can save face and suspended him for conduct unbecoming a NFL player.

Frankly, it's a sham. But this is as much PR for them as anything else.

Josh Brown, who admitted to multiple domestic violent acts, got 1 game. The precedent has been set.

Based on this, Zeke should get maybe 1 series.

But, he's going to be made an example of. So I see him getting a couple of games.

It's like a weekly thing now for some reporter to claim Zeke will be suspended soon, on a Friday.

Last week it was Clayton, now it's AS.
Wonder who reports the same thing next week?
