That's what I read it as a fine and a suspension. I doubt he'd just get a fine after all this time. It's getting leaked to prepare us. This is happening folks.
Yep--its getting leaked to prepare us...Now did Mr Jones adamatly say no evidence to leak to the fans that he will fight a suspension in court???

Maybe...kind of repeating what I heard on Talkin Cowboys this morning.

FYI---Hardy was suspended originally on April 22, he appealed and it was reduced on July 10th.

So that is quite a bit of time.

I believe though that the NFL has tightened up the time period due to complaints and some court rulings not in their favor.

Bold is a silly statement lol. I'm just messing with you but I don't think I've ever heard it used except when talking about people making more than the avg person. I never hear that used for folks working a fast food job. Also who ever says these said jobs are a privilege? That's why I don't like the saying but again just messing with you because I dislike the saying.
Haha... I get it. Perhaps I misused the word privilege or maybe not. I just think anytime someone gets paid millions of dollars to play a sport is a privilege. At least I would consider it a privilege if it were me. Then again, I also consider myself privileged to have my current job and I don't play a sport for a living.

Either way, some jobs have higher standards than others and the NFL is one of them. It boggles my mind that a lot these guys are making so much more than the average person for playing a game they love and they just can't stay out of the limelight for whatever reason. It also seems more prevalent in fooball than any other sport.

Oh well, this is all his fault.

I sure won't cry or stress about him being an idiot.

Weather he really did anything or not, the fact he was being investigated and still was in the middle of club drama, pulling girls tops down. He deserves what comes his way.

You make millions my dude, stay with a tight crowd, get a decent girl and travel in your free time. **** the party, club life...and **** messing with these dirty slimey no moral having *** broads

Thats exactly right.
I don't know if it will ever come out on the detailed facts about this case, but I think we should be able to tell if there is more here than meets the eye by how they appeal this thing. If they appeal to the NFL, lose the appeal and accept the suspension, that will show that there was more here than the public was privy to. If they lose the appeal and take this to the court system, then I think the evidence against him is weak.

Yes he's been out partying ( prior to camp), and there are things that the general public doesn't know and if the NFL investigators just checked his social media and other players and then go interview the security at those places or even pay them for info, lots of stuff would come out. Lots

Most of the security are loyal, but I've seen some paid off before. If you need info and are willing to pay $200-2000 for good info. Boom! Jackpot

I could make a killing investigating...it all starts at da clubz

@JohnsKey19
One of the Cowboys beat writers on a podcast weeks alluded to other incidents that the general public was unaware of. And how the team has done a good job of basically making the incidents disappear while keeping all subjects involved silent.

I blame it on Stephen. He is too tight with money. Jerry was able to buy off the witnesses to keep Dez out of trouble but now with Stephen running the show he probably wouldn't pay the 1 million that Jerry paid.

Pretty reasonable. So just act like Dak!
Love Dak. Love Witten. Love Lee. Why can't they just follow their lead. I'm not asking them to be an angel for a lifetime, just stay out of trouble and make your millions for the next 5-15 years and retire with more money then you know what to do with at an age when most of us are still decades away from retirement.

Fight it! Fight it! Fight it!

If the NFL is allowed to continue this farce, it will never end, and players throughout the league will be the victims of similar witch hunts.

Close Pandora's Box now.

Don't show up for the Week One game. Then let Goodell and Mara tell NBC why they don't have a game for them.
I agree---- NFL better show obvious evidence of dometic violence and not he said she said to run an investigation so long....If there is any doubt i believe Jerry will unload all resources into courtroom

Don't have to be convicted, but they need evidence showing guilt. That just gives a way to punish a player when their is a payoff or something to drop charges. Not when proof shows the "victim". Was lying.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...uspension-would-be-the-beginning-not-the-end/

"The letter communicating the suspension will explain Elliott’s appeal rights. He’ll have three business days to commence the process. If/when (when) he does, Commissioner Roger Goodell will have the ability to preside over the appeal personally, or to designate someone else to handle it."
