Driven over 100mph - check
Been in bar fight - check
Been to Mardi Gras parade with girls pulling their tops and getting assistance from others - check
Went to weed shop in Seattle - check

These all have been checked off for myself. Yet have not been in trouble with the law and feel I'm a responsible citizen, a good father, and good husband. Guess not......

Everyone thinks they are good in and of themselves. Even the worst criminals attempt to justify what they do. Can we find an absolute standard of right and wrong? If each person is the sole judge of their own character, then everyone is justified in what they do, including Hitler.

Back to the matter at hand, Elliott is not helping himself or the team with these actions, even if he escapes the suspension.

After everything the NFL has stuck us with there is no doubt how Goodell feels about us. He is at the whim of John Mara and others who loathe the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones.

Josh Brown admitted to beating his wife and the NFL didn't give a damn. He got a one game suspension and then John Mara extended his contract. You have a man that admitted that he hurt his wife and made her his slave and hardly a slap on the wrist happened.

This is beyond ridiculous. Ezekiel Elliott is only guilty of being young and immature. He hasn't in the slightest been proven to be an abuser of women and that is exactly what the NFL is saying he is with this suspension.

I'm at a loss for words with this crap and have had it.

He's already backed down before with the league... I cannot recall the specific incident, but I'm pretty certain he did before.
He is, most of all, a business man first.

It was over the Miles Austin cap enforcement during a capped year.

If he would have sued the NFL it would have been over collusion which would have opened up a pandora's box come the upcoming CBA negotiations. It's not the same thing here. I don't see how the NFL can really threaten him.

See, you are basically lying again.

1) What does this even mean, full texts don't exist in public? We have screen shots of the text exchange. And, again, for the billionth time, the girl signed an official affidavit stating the alleged victim asked her to lie for him. So we have more than just the texts. We have an official statement on record from her. Why do you struggle to grasp that concept?

2) LOL. By mentioning Hardy's friend, you clearly were implying that it was someone close to Elliott who was defending Elliott and therefore, his or her statement should not be trusted. Everyone sees that and for you to try to argue otherwise or spin it some other way is embarrassing.

3) No one in this entire thread said anything about banishment if he appealed the case. You just made that up. Everyone in this thread who brought up banishment were clear in stating that the NFL told Elliott if he had another run in with law enforcement (pretty vague on their part) that he could face banishment. You are trying to spin your statement after it was pointed out to you that banishment wasn't some lie made up by a reporter and was, in fact, in the very letter you lectured people on reading.

So stop. You are doing nothing here but just digging a deeper hole.

You're going to have to start charging tuition if yall dont stop soon lol. Some people will argue water isnt wet. Its clear he has his own agenda, you're wasting your time bro. But thanks for the entertainment.

I haven't gone through this monstrosity of a thread and I haven't been paying too much attention to this topic at all, really.
I take it you're thinking Zeke needs a proper slap? His behavior is something you deem is his true character and he needs to fundamentally alter his course post haste?

Well if he wants to have a long career in the NFL he probably needs to change his ways.

If they threaten him then I expect he would sue them. He went to court over sponsorships back in the 90s and was mentored by Al Davis who famously sued the NFL multiple times.

People bring up how he cowered to the league over the cap penalty but that is an entirely different situation. Fighting the Elliott charge and pushing for his won endorsements had no real downside in court. But pushing the cap penalty had ramifications for the league in general such as collusion, etc. He pushed the cap penalty as far as he could without potentially putting the league in harm's way.

If the NFL does not suspend the suspension while its litigated in court then the NFLPA would have a case for irrevocable harm done to Zeke. The case law is already there talking about the short careers of NFL players etc.

The evidence is pretty cut and dry. The DA/police did not even indict him for very good reason.

I see this as the NFL having their cake and eat it too. They can say that they tried to punish him if something else comes out down the line and Zeke has a pretty easy case for exoneration. The victim and her allegations are not only not corroborated, they were contradicted by a third party.

I don't see a judge hesitating to issue an injunction if the NFL does not suspend the punishment.
@FuzzyLumkins---- thanks for being up on this stuff....it really upset me to the bone...i was in tears...i know that makes me some cowboy wierdo but i dont care

You wonder how much eventually winning the Brady case has pumped up the NFL thinking they can do what they want and the court will agree with them?

Pissing off the largest fan base in the league as well as reinforcing the perception that you are a hypocritical, power mad, self-appointed judge that is above the law are all bad PR moves.

Also waiting a year + to make a ruling implies a very high level of incompetence. Throw in past inconsistent rulings in DV and there WILL be a backlash.

BUMP!

It was with those cap fines we got that year us and the Commanders. But he is more fired up about this than that. He aint taking this one sitting down.

I disagree. Some people absolutely know they are garabge or at least are willing to say so in an honest moment.

This is f-ing BS.

So, a woman can accuse you and unless you can prove that you didn't do it, you get suspended...since a photo of a bruise taken that day is considered evidence that you assaulted a woman.
