There is no time when minorities can get away from the issues they face. The best part of America is the FREEDOM to protest injustice. And not just when its convenient for someone watching TV.
So are all protests cool or does the issue behind the protest matter.

I'm thinking about putting mine up for sale altogether. Make money, don't watch, and have more time on Sunday. Doesn't sound half bad.
I've got my finger on the button. I'm already bored with the NFL, this will be the catalyst for getting me out for good.

I respect people's outrage over the kneeling. I do. And I'm beginning to respect it more and more as I see folks here whom I admire and like, being outspoken about it. It seems people are more passionate about it here, than the folks I know in my real life that don't agree with the kneeling.

But...

I won't lie. It would be bloody interesting if the team has a "closed-door" meeting and chooses to sit, including a couple All-Pro lineman and other stars, behind the backs of Jerry and JG. What could Jerry do?

And will fans actually stop watching? Like I said, I respect the outrage, I do. But I also respect a person's right to do as they please, as long as it isn't harmful to others.

At this point, the protesting is just backlash against our President, who treaded where he shouldn't have.

Doesn't bother me at all.
You want a solution. Stop playing the anthem at non international sporting events. It's ridiculous
Or stop requiring players to come out for anthem
I wouldn't protest myself but respect the rights of others to do so
Simple solution is those who don't want to stand for anthem can stay in locker room
Problem solved

We'll see when that salary cap shrinks due to lost revenue and a smaller TV deal. Let's watch Dak Prescott get a fourth what he would have gotten, and that rookie salary drops below $100K.

Owners are probably already looking for back doors to shut the league down before the concussion lawsuits start. The league will soon be dead.

Then what's the next Marshawn Lynch and Ezekiel Elliott going to do for a living?

Pretty much the way I see it, Scipio. Once he went after the players and told fans to leave the stadium, the owners got involved. Billionaires like to be left to their own laurels, and hate their money being messed with.

If the Cowboys kneel during the anthem that will put an end to my football season.
at least they wont be unique, every team is doing it. Id rather this then the 5 upcoming weekends of Pepto Bismol pink we have to watch yet again this season. it should be one freakin weekend, and whoever had a bye that weekend do it next weekend. But no it has to be a whole month every year
