Man you guys are naive as hell if you think Kaep has been blackballed. An NFL team signed the CONVICTED DOG KILLER VICK to a contract. If they can fade the PR hit over that trying to find a good QB then Kap would be signed immediately if he could play a lick.

Different time. Vick was nearly a decade ago.

How’s Ray Rice doing?

I laughed the other day when the headline was something like "Kaepernick finally signs with someone".....freakin' book deal....that moron probably can't even read
Not that this should matter but -

Kaepernick was born in 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Heidi Russo, a 19-year-old who was single at the time.[4] His birth father, an African American man, left Russo before Colin was born.[5][6] Russo placed Colin for adoption with Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, a white couple who had two children—son Kyle and daughter Devon—and were looking for a boy after losing two other sons to heart defects.[5][7] Kaepernick became the youngest of their three children. He lived in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, until age four, and attended grade school in Turlock, California.[8][9]

When Kaepernick was eight years old, he began playing youth football as a defensive end and punter. He then became his youth team's starting quarterback at age nine, and he completed his first competitive pass for a long touchdown.[8] A 4.0 GPA student[10] at John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California, Kaepernick played football, basketball and baseball and was nominated for All-State selection in all three sports his senior year. He was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Central California Conference in football, leading his school to its first-ever playoff victory. In basketball, he was a first-team all CCC selection at forward and led his 16th-ranked team to a near upset of #1 ranked Oak Ridge High School in the opening round of playoffs. In that game, Kaepernick scored 34 points, but Ryan Anderson of Oak Ridge scored 50 to lead the Oak Ridge Trojans to victory over John Pitman High School.[11]

By the way, I thought this topic wasn't allowed. Are the moderators on vacation or did they have a change of heart?

I think now it is in the courts and Jerry is involved it has to be discussed. You can't pretend this isn't real and surprise...surprise...our owners big mouth has him front and center.

-- The 49ers built an entire offense around hiding Kaepernick's limitations. Perhaps first-time offensive coordinator Geep Chryst was out of his depth, but he showed no confidence in Kaepernick after some early season struggles. Chryst was on the record saying he wouldn't even let Kaepernick attempt downfield passes on third-and-13. This is a five-year veteran who signed a contract that was worth up to $126 million only the year before.

-- A lack of protection also didn't help Kaepernick. He faced quick pressure too often and didn't appear confident with what was in front of him. It led to frantic decisions. Even when Kaepernick was protected well, he was often tentative and left the pocket too quickly. He waited to see a receiver wide open instead of trusting the play design and anticipating throws. These are the skills that separate the Jay Cutlers of the league from the top-10 quarterbacks. Can that be taught?

-- The secret was out on how to stop Kaepernick. He was often forced to roll to his left and didn't respond well. Opposing defenses saw many of the 49ers' bootlegs coming. Kaepernick started eight games in 2015; the team scored seven points or less in four of them, with only a field goal in two of those contests. The 49ers had more punts than first downs in his game against Seattle. It wasn't modern football.

-- The most damning part of the tape was how much the 49ers limited Kaepernick. Against the Packers, he had one completion over seven yards. He was limited to half-field reads and short passes. The thrilling highlight reel player from a few years back rarely showed up.

Nobody is disputing his weaknesses. He also was surrounded by trash his later years in SF and still put up a 90 QBR. He’s better than a lot of bums starting in the league right now with their limitations. There is top 10 QBs and everybody else.

Chryst hasn’t shown anything anywhere either as a coach.

Dak also is very conservative and doesn’t tend to throw his WRs open and he also plays better out the pocket. I’m not saying Colin is Dak, but every QB has weaknesses.

It’s up to coaches to realize them and adjust accordingly.

That is my point.

Right.
Brady wouldn't be Brady in that Packers system that relies on its qb to extend plays.

RGIII had some big games
Johnny Manziel won the last CLE game
Tim Tebow won 6 games in a row and beat PITT in the playoffs

They all are out of the league cause they aren't good enough and the Read Option isn't a full time offense anymore....... same with Kaepernick,,,,,,,his own coaches say he can't play in the pocket and can't read Defenses

Kapernick is out of the league. Fact.
Blake Bortles is a starter in this league. Fact.
Jay Cutler is a starter in this league. Fact.
Joe Flacco is a starter in this league. Fact.
Josh McCown is a starter in this league. Fact.

And none of that means there is a conspiracy.

What you’re doing is taking facts that really have nothing to do with Kaepernick and forcing them into the story just because.

He would have a job right now if not for his gf. I believe Ray over the ironic(and doesn’t even know it) protestor.

With a first rate supporting cast, Kap was very good. Without said cast, he flopped.

I see you are the Fan Club President

Does that come with signed knee pads?
Not his fan club president but I respect the cause he's fighting for. Just like most Americans should. But because you aren't the victim here you can't relate or care what's going on outside of your little box. It says enough about you that you think Blake Bortles is a better qb than Kap lol. Laughable lol.

Conspiracy was your word. I don't think it's a conspiracy. I think it's plain as day what's going on when Matt McGloin has a job in this league.

Ray Lewis is a well known liar. I'd suggest you do some research on him.

Manziel is a head case and a alcoholic.
Robert had about 100 chances including being picked up by the Browns.
