I have been a fan since 1975.
I have read many post where the older fans are losing interest in the NFL,
and a lot of the younger generations are not much interested either.
We may watch Cowboy's games, but not other games or NFL shows.
The whole anthem protest thing and
Roger Goddells heavy handed treatment of Zeke are just taking the joy out of being a fan.
Don't understand Roger making an example out of one of the NFL's best young stars on the NFL's
most popular team, just plain crazy!
Will continue watching the Cowboys, but don't really care much about the rest of the League.
How do others feel about all this ?
Just sad to see America's once most popular sport going down the toilet.

And some are actually upset with JErry going after Goodell.

The NFL is a reflection of society itself. Society as a whole is committing suicide, not just the league. They tinkered and tinkered and tinkered with the most popular cash cow sport in the country until they finally changed it into something far less popular than it once was. TERRIBLE! I feel sorry for the younger fans who never got to experience the NFL in its Hey day, "the 70's". Man,...it was really something back then. But this new product? Its utter TRASH in just about every conceivable way. Barely even resembles what once was. Truly a shame.

I predict that within 2 decades football will no longer be the USA's #1 sport. I think the main reason is the concussion problem. I think baseball or basketball will move up to #1 at some point.

You'd be surprised at the concussions in other sports.

College womens soccer has higher rates of concussions than the NFL does.

The NFL is just the one being attacked because it's the most popular sport.

So the only way to stop concussions is just to stop playing sports really because it's a sports problem and not an NFL only problem.

With great wealth comes great ego. These are not yes men running these teams. Litigation is a tool that they know is mostly only affordable to people like themselves.

The NFL has been growing in record numbers in recent years . I’m ok with thinning out some fringe and fantasy fans. Maybe my Sunday Ticket will go down in price.

An economic correction always humbles a business. I’d even be ok with it dropping back to the levels it was 30 years ago where only a handful of players were making more than a million a year.

Do we really need multi millionaire players and billionaire owners for the NFL to prosper ?

Stop the madness. The NFL is only reflecting broader social problems. We'll recover; football will recover and everything is gonna be alright. Eventually.

This was said in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, etc.

It was said in ancient Rome. It was said in Victorian era England and so on and so forth. All your statement says is you are aging.

The anthem think doesnt phase me in the slightest, it will peter out by next year. Zeke is also an ephemeral occurence, wouldnt lose interest over that. I am concerned about CTE though and feel a twinge of guilt watching men hit each other hundreds of times knowing some will put a bullet in their chests over it a couple of decades later before they even get to 60. Just hoping the NFL doesnt go the way of boxing. Heavyweight boxing used to be gigantically popular in the US.

Actually it just says that YOU are wrong.

The whole Zeke thing has really soured me on this season.
I mean you don't know from game to game if he is playing or not.
If I felt he was being treated fairly, that would be one thing, but from all appearances
he is just being made an example of.
Really hate injustis, and I am glad he is fighting it tooth and nail.
