Who do we call up while he is suspended? Brian Brown? The WR corps is banged up.

It is what it is. I expected this outcome, but I'm still mad about it. It's a shame that the CBA dictates some much power to the NFL. The next time the CBA comes up, I expect this to be a major topic.

It shouldn't even be part of the discussion. The commissioner should be fully excluded from any disciplinary action and it would be up to a committee comprised of NFL executives and NFLPA members.

makes you wonder about his legal team.
Also makes me see the NFL front office in an even uglier light.
Seeing how they have a goal of rushing to court as soon as they release their results so they can make a player serve a suspension before getting a trail is beyond ugly and reeks of corporate corruption at its worst.

This entire case just does way more harm to the league than any good PR that they believe comes from it.
I wouldnt like this type of behavior if it was happening to any player.

The sad thing is he's serving a suspension for Domestic Violence. That's what's attached to it and he wasn't even convicted of the crime. Zeke's name gets attached to woman beater and Goodell is furious about making $40 Million a year.

Somebody seriously needs to throw a tomato or a battery or even better a brick at Roger Goodell when he walks across the stage on draft night.:angry::angry::mad::mad::angry::mad:

I appreciate the attempt to sugar coat. But missing Zeke for the next 6 games sucks no matter how you slice it.

The team still needs to go 5-3 the last 8 games to have a realistic shot at the playoffs.
I think they can go 4-2 without him.

None of that would be possible, if the law didn't allow--no, encourage--it.

I agree, but it's not going to happen until the next CBA is negotiated.
