After the Broncos and Chargers games in 2009, I started hating him as an OC. Naturally, I've never liked him as a head coach. We have a large enough sample size (and enough time to "re-build") to know what he is, and that is nothing more than a .500 coach.

I personally would take Patricia has head coach right now.

Very well thought our and articulated. Now I do think he is taking a bit of a gratuitous beating for the LT situation. He also lost one of the best pass protecting running backs I've ever seen (Elliott), and his left guard was struggling. Keeping a TE in was problematic given overall pressure and the need to have quick routes. At some point, the guy on the field must do his job. There is only so much a scheme can cover. Green looked awful to the point I wondered if he was injured. Bell came in and surrendered two sacks. We can fault the coaches for having failed to produce better options, but given the options available, I don't know where you find more in-game help.

I think he does a good job managing the personalities in the locker room. Players seem to respect him and he handles the media well.

I just don't think much of him in terms of in-game management and adjustments. I have a hard time seeing Garrett put the Cowboys over the top without an absolutely loaded roster.

Hmmm. This must make as little sense as my unfortunate face would suggest. This was a reply to the Money post, and my technical skills failed me again -- thus Mr. Peanut.

Garrett seems like a good HC. I question some of the play calling, i'm not sure who is to blame for it. I't could be said that some of the play calling is really just blown assignments by a player here or there and the play collapses, so who's fault coach or player?

The better question is how many good coaches want to work for Jerry? A new coach will have a short leash because not many people know how to deal with Jerry and things may spiral out of control early then back to musical chairs with the coaches again.

If Jerry stepped down and Stephen ran the show i think his personality would be better for dealing with new coaches. I know this won't happen but needs mentioning for this topic.

I still want Linehan as our O-Coordinator. Even though he has frustrated me, I believe in having your QB under the same system with the same O-Coordinator for at least the first 4 years of his career.

Problem is that I don't want Linehan as the HC. I would look to move on from Marinelli and Woicik would be gone. I'd look for another D-Coordinator that uses the 4-3 and a similar scheme with regards to the D-Line getting upfield...maybe a wide-9 technique type of D-Coordinator. I'd like to see our safeties bracket more often.

Essentially, I would need to find a real good young coach, a Sean McVay type, before I split with Garrett. But, I really have my questions if Garrett is the guy. He can build a team up well, but if something doesn't go as planned...he has no counter for it.

Peyton went 7-9 each of the last 3 seasons despite having Drew Brees. If he was doing that in Dallas no one on this board would be singing his praises.

So who do you want? I guess I gravitate that way because I am so sick of the plain beat your man scheme. SP would mix it up I believe. But if not him maybe Gruden. Id love an up and coming coordinator but his body of work will have to be impressive. Like some have said I am in favor or replacing Garrett but it depends on who we replace him with.

Never hated him. But I've been thinking about it. I'm done with him for sure. He can just easily be rattled by the game and out coached. NE played with a backup tackle against Von Miller last night. His team made sure he was never in trouble and had help. Garrett just let Chaz get rocked and give up 6 sacks. Never adjusted. No adjustments at halftime. He's just.....I don't know man....But he's not the guy.

No!

I haven’t been a fan since Day 1 and he’s barely showed me anything to move the needle since! I feel just numb watching him honestly. Some people are good, smart people and just not meant to coach. If they want him behind scenes cool but tired of this “process”

I like the way he says he approaches things.

We do have a good amount of talent, and the cap looks to be in great shape going forward. Better than any other time in his tenure, and enough to sign some serious talent as well as our own, and still be fine for Dak.

I just don't think he's very creative. I get the feeling that when chips are down, he tries to just get the team to execute more efficiently, rather than get creative and put the guys in a position to succeed.

On that same line, he needs to do more to adjust when things aren't working, or we're just getting plain beat at a position. You just can't let your Tackle getting beat all day affect your game for 4 quarters. You won't win many big games like that.

I like our team, and I like the way our talent matches up with our cap. But, I don't know if Jason is the right man for the job.

I'd be very tempted to bring in another HC this off-season to work with this young team while getting more talent this off-season. Start a new chapter. But, it'd depend on who's available obviously. I wouldn't replace him with just anyone for the sake of it.

I think this is pretty fair. They probably *are* making adjustments, but they adjustments are conservative, like Garrett is. Listening to Dak talk after the game, I think the plan was to call plays to get the ball out of his hands faster. You could tell they wanted to run right on that drive after halftime. They did give Green some help on passing downs, but not enough.

The only constant through our years of embarrassment after embarrassment since Bill Parcells left is old JG.

I'm curious to get a read on how many fans still have faith that Jason Garrett is the right man for the job or how many fans are ready to move on?

Just your own opinion on what you would like to see happen going forward, and not what you expect Jerry Jones to do.

I'm interested to get a read on how opinions and overall confidence stands at this point.

I was until very recently. But I'm out on him.
I thought he got hit too hard by fans for years.
After yesterday, and the complete lack of adjusting to what Atlanta was throwing at us, I cannot defend it anymore. He's average at the very best, and I don't see how we could go on a playoff run with him at the helm.
