Our heart was suspended for six weeks. Without Zeke, this teams has no mojo, no confidence, and is beaten mentally. Plus, we overrated our talent in several places.

But remember, anyone can run behind this line!! McFadden gained yards in 2015.

God, I hope that silly argument can be put to rest. Zeke made this offense go. And yards on a stat sheet is only half the story. All yards are not created equally.

You think a competent coach will work for Jerry?

No idea.

I just know we don't have one now. So I'll take a chance and hope some coach has no issues working with a personality like Jones or maybe he finds the next hot young coach who is just desperate for a head gig.

Yep. That’s about it. Garrett had great talent last year. This year he has to coach because we don’t have the personnel.... but he’s incapable. Why does Garrett even stand on the sideline? He serves no purpose. He’s not helping this team win.

This is who he is. Can't win a meaningful game in 2015 after Romo out. Too many idiots still giving him excuses.

I think a big reason why we have Garrett is because no one else will work for Jerry. Aside from the Lane Kiffin's and Rod Maranelli's of the world.....

Most teams become inept without their QB, especially a star QB.

To become non-competitive when missing non-QBs is unacceptable beyond belief and is a dozen eggs on the face of Jason Garrett. He wears this failure 100%.

Look at the Deadskins. I was shocked to see them being competitive against the Saints today. I thought they just got lucky beating Seattle but they almost beat the Saints in NO even with their best offensive weapon (Chris Thomson) going out with a broken leg during the game.

Yes, if he comes from College......like David Shaw :)

Yeah....with Jerry's recent history.......not sure if i'd expect a guy like Shaw to even entertain coming here. Its going to be interesting to even see if we can get free agents in here. Jerry has really done some damage to this teams reputation.

How can you have 2 former NFL HC’s a former college head coach, and a team just quit and can’t make adjustments? How can that be possible? Linahan, Rod and Dooley and add Garrett? I mean this is bad

How do we know? Jones has never attempted to replace Garrett in 7 years.

The Dallas Cowboys have been a soft organization since the day Jimmy left. Thankfully, there were enough holdovers to squeeze out a 5th championship, but we've seen where the team has gone the next 20+ years.

It starts at the top. Soft leadership, soft coaches, soft team, no titles. Get used to it, because it isn't going to change under the Joneses.

Agree...

Funny thing is Jerry calling Robert Kraft a puss. As if Jerry could throw his weight around. Jerry needs to look into the mirror. Your all talk Jerry.

The odds of Jerry hiring the right coach and not undermining him makes this "root for Garrett to get fired" scheme seem rather pointless and harebrained.

Hopefully the NFL owners overreact to Jerry's hissy fit and take the team away from him so we can get a real owner finally. If I'm rooting for an unlikely Hail Mary toss at this point, this one seems like the more worthwhile one to hope for.

As long as Jerry's the one picking the replacement, firing Garrett seems unlikely to solve anything, really.

FWIW, I've been listening to local radio here in Philly and some of the commentary is that it's not hard to stop us when we don't have the talent advantage. Eagles players saying we run a fairly simplistic and easy to read offense.

Ray Lewis has been saying that. So many people have been saying that. Garrett's strategy is clearly to outtalent other teams, but it's not going to happen in the salary cap era. Other teams will take your players because you can only afford to pay so many and injuries occur as well.

This is exactly what was said by either the Broncos or Rams staff. (I forgot which one.)
The team is easy to gameplan.

It's called lack of leadership. No one is willing to take responsibility...or control. They are all afraid to take risks. You see it in their play calling. Most gutless coaching staff in the league by far right now. The bigger the situation...the less likely they are gonna do something to go for a win. They would rather sit back...and let a team steam roll them than take a chance...that's how small Garrett's balls have become. Playing not to lose...=loser football mentality.

Not the first time that's been said by opponents. Even casual fans notice they seem to run just a handful of plays.
