Fire Garrett. Bring back Romo as HC and OC. Bring in a real DC.

Then you'll see "IT" again.

The locker room is lost. Garrett is finished.

What part do you find to be untrue? You may have ended up skipping too many of the important classes in high school if your reading level is that bad.

That's a cute elementary response...I was expecting it though.

Dak hasn’t broken 300 yards passing once this season and has five 100 yard passing games and three in a row. One of his 200 yard games came in garbage time against Denver.

Romo wasn’t even involved in game planning until 2013, meaning he was just implementing Jason Garrett’s play-calling, while Scott Linehan is coaching up Dak, meaning Dak has an actual OC working with him on the sideline and during the game.

Dak looks like garbage against defensive pressure that Romo was normally and still threw regularly over 300 yards a game. Romo was getting sacked on average thirty plus a season and had an OC that couldn’t coach a running game to save his life, meaning the ‘head coach in training’ per Jerry’s own words.

The comparisons are an utter joke..

His YPA are basically running Cassel-Wheedon levels 2015... Wheedon in losses was going 21-26 in games and has a 72% completion percentage..

“It” - checking down for a 3 yard gain?

Let's be fair - while Dak has clearly regressed, we can't knock what he did last year. As another poster wrote, he's not as good as we gave him credit for last year and not as bad as he's being made out to be this year.

The truth is, something happened to the kid. It could be that he's used to getting more time in the pocket. Maybe he took too many hits. Maybe it has something to do with his mechanics. But he's not the same quarterback that he was last year.

That doesn't mean he won't be that quarterback again. It means that whatever problem he has, it needs to get fixed. Because as Bill Parcells once said, you can't just pick up the phone and dial 1-800-QUARTERBACK. He's our guy for the foreseeable future, so he needs to right the ship.

Your primary passing plays after your first year can’t be boot legs..

You limit half the field and Zeke’s five YPC on first down opened up the play action for Dak.

Teams don’t fall for the bootleg anymore, like Romo pointed out so now Dak is stuck in down and distance and he has to rely more on his arm and obvious passing formations, when before it was still manageable downs with the threat of runs. Even with Zeke his play was regressing.

DC consistently point out this year, you need to keep Dak in the pocket and not let him get out where he is most dangerous..

Dak need to learn how to be a drop back passer plain and simple and use the whole field.

Let's see the knock on Dak and the excuse for Wentz last year was surrounding talent, which did a complete 180 this year.

You mean last year as rookies ? One went into a system that was already in place that proved it could win . The other went into a brand new system needing to replace talent that was no longer there . Dak has the same WRs and Rbs he worked with now for 2 seasons. Wentz not even a full season into these people he has at WR and RB . Now as 2nd year Qbs you want to see them improve not step back. All teams lose players . The fact is Dak never had to deal with the stuff he delt with last 3 weeks . IF he is doing it the rest of the season then yes worry .

Wince is a damn good player. Dak is in a rough patch and will get better. A great competition has been born.

Why does Romo keep getting brought up every time Dak is mentioned? He's GONE. He's ******* GONE.

Get it through your thick heads.
Pretty much. Some want to live in a fantasy world that he didn't retire because he was hurt. I guess it helps them cope. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about Dak but regardless we needed a new QB anyway. We have to find out what we got.

Did Dak "refuse" to throw the ball downfield, or was he simply doing what the coaches told him to do?

How many deep routes did the Cowboys run yesterday?

I'm tired of this staff playing scared and Dak having to fall on the sword for it.
May be a point here. Weeden and Cassell also had shackles on them in terms of what they were allowed to do.

Including 11 in a row. And win offensive rookie of the year after being drafted in the 4th round. Having 4 INTs vs 20+ TDs. Playing very well in the playoffs and leading a scoring drive late in 4th only for his defence to let him down.

Oh but he's had a bad stretch where's he's been sacked 10+ times from behind so whys he good again?

Oh give me a break. That's excuse making for a QB that simply isn't good enough. All of a sudden when the real talent isn't on the field as the make up to his acne, the coaches are forcing Prescott to play poorly.

Jerry's a terrible GM and a stage 4 cancer to this team, yes. Garrett's a gender fluid, weak willed head coach who eliminated his own team last year, yep. Prescott as a franchise QB prospect simply is a complete fraud. All of it is true.

Your GM-HC-QB trio all suck to varying degrees. Good luck winning with that.

How many championships did that bring us? Yeah Romo's failures at the time were all on him, he was crucified on a weekly basis because for all his heroics, there was that interceptions or fumble at the worst time.

Presently all of that is forgotten, he had a bad defense, a bad oline. Well Dak's defense is farr would, but that doesn't seem to matter. His pro bowl line is getting him sacked at an alarming rate.

So what if we go 8-8, that should make all of you happy, that's Romo level football!
