when they first hired Pederson I didn't think he would be much of a coach boy was I wrong he has his team in the nfc championship game with a back up qb and also losing key players along the line. also his gm and front office are really good looks like with their qb we will be looking up at them for some time to come I hate it but that's what it looks like to me

but not always. Our D line in the late 70's and early 80's was undoubtedly the best in the NFL but we only won 1 SB. You need more.
Agree it takes a full team effort and
As my die hard Eagle brother in law texted a. S load of luck

PS . Was forced to don the Demarco Murray Jersey he gave me as a joke and wear my uncles Eagle hat due to a promise that if eagles won I would do this. They know I am a life long boys fan even though I was born in Philadelphia

The Giants will rebuild before we do.

Peterson inherited much better talent than JG. No doubt he did, and the front office traded/acquired Jernnigan, Darby, Ajay, and Jeffries, and there might be someone I missed.

Just like wonder boy in LA inherited some great players from Jeff Fisher, but got much credit anyway.

JG was here during an overhaul of the roster AND cap hell caused by our front office. He has under delivered results at times without a doubt, but it ain’t fair to compare the two scenarios.

Exactly. They added some talent for Wentz to throw to, Darby and Ajayi in FA. That's a bit of a lessen that we don't seem to learn. This is the lesson we should learn, add some firepower at the skill positions in the draft (WR would be a start) and maybe pull out the wallet and play at least a bit in the big boy FA market. Lot's of ways to free up cap space

Strong defense and ingenuity on offense. It's been the Patriot way for a long time and the Eagles are using the same model. Dallas, on the other hand, employs the weak defense and outdated offense from glory days long past model. Garrett is incapable or unwilling to adjust his scheme to his player's abilities and to exploit weakness or mismatches. It is excruciating to watch less talented teams running innovative offenses and being aggressive on defense.

Bingo. Just because you won 13 games one time with it doesn’t mean it’s forever

How can that be? Well, the FO right down to least important coaches suck. We are not winning another SB as long as the Jones family continue to insist that they can actually evaluate talent, any talent, and that includes coaching...

As a Cowboy fan, this organization is an embarrassment...

The Eagles coach started coaching high school football and appears that he earned his head coaching job..what the heck has JG ever accomplished to deserve the be head coach, nothing.

The only reason he hasn’t been fired is because he’s the perfect yes man for the Jones clan

Um, Garrett inherited the most prolific passer in franchise history and a generational pass rushing talent.

Yes, he did have a couple of players. But across the board, Philly had better talent, and still does.

I am confused, the Garrett supporters have told me repeatedly that the "process" of building a team "the right way" takes years and years and years before you can play in an NFC Championship Game.

Pederson in his second year on the job is hosting the dam thing................how can this be:huh:
I dont think there are many JG supporters. I think they are just not worrying about something they cant control and are probably just tired of these types of threads. Arent you?

Philly has a better coaching staff. We can't even win a playoff game with an elite QB, elite RB, HOF TE, elite WR and yet they win without their starting qb.
Demarco Murray set cowboys records in 2014, as did Romo. Jason Witten is Jason Witten. Dez Bryant had an excellent year that year as well. We had the number 1 o line in the league. Just about all of the guys were healthy into the playoffs and we still couldn't beat a hobbled aaron rodgers.

Garret has been OC when we had Witten, TO, Miles Austin, Romo, and just a treasure trove of talent and still no conference championship. I don't know how many more years he needs to be here to point out the obvious. Our o line was in the gutters for a few years because we CHOSE to blow it up and let everyone walk at once, sort of like we did with our secondary this year.

Stop.

Just stop.

I bet if I go back and find posts from before this season, there is a good chance you weren’t talking about how talented Philly was.

This is just classic excuse making for Garrett. Pederson took over a team that was adrift after Kelly tore it apart trading away guys like McCoy and others.

In two years he’s in a NFC Champ game. And did so with key injuries. We are in Year 7 with a coach who inherited Romo and Ware and has had some talent at his disposal over that period and yet never seems to coach this team to its potential.

It’s embarrassing to watch Cowboys fans continually make excuses for our coaching staff when other teams overcome the issues that you guys want to claim is holding Garrett back from greatness.
