I was one of those guys because I thought Wentz would struggle earlier in his career due to playing at a small school and I just didn't think Goff was that good. I think the jury is still out on Goff but yeah I was wrong on both of those guys.

If you didn’t think they were good enough I understand why you would be against it. The people I’m referring to are the ones who said they were really good prospects but tried to justify waiting around and hoping one fell to us. Make the move and go get one if you like them. Stay out and go another direction if you don’t. I have respect for these teams who are identifying their guy and going to get him.

What do you think of Mike White,the QB from Western Ky? I witnessed many of his games and he plays the same week in,week out...accurate and poised. Not gonna wow you like Allen,but has a similar skillset as Phil Simms. I like the kid.

How can you state that? If the Jets QB they pick turns out to be a franchise QB, it was a great trade for the Jets.

So many people state the draft is a crap shoot. Yet when a team makes a bold move, trading crap shoot picks, if this turns out to the the guy they needed, then it was worth it.

I am reading things about the fact their real target is Baker Mayfield.

If that is considered, this is not as bad of a risk. But I wouldn't have given up that many picks for him.

At the end of all of this, they were looking to make it harder on Buffalo to get ahead of them.
