We can argue about who Dallas should have targeted in free agency, but the team has landed the players it has targeted. The Joneses brought in Thompson, Hurns and Fleming and signed them.

What about DEFENSE lol...guess the FO thinks our Defense is Stud material...lol...i know the draft the draft will save us...LOL....

Give the front office credit for what?????

Can't get a long term deal done w/ Lawerence.

Can't get a long term deal done w/ Martin

Getting rid of a our #1 WR in Bryant

Have let what little depth we had @ LBer walk in Hitchens and Wilbur....

Lost a starter on the O-line in Cooper....

Completely overpaid for a couple of JAGs in Hurns and Thompson.

Lost our FB...then made a panic trade for a guy we let walk...

Now we have strung out Witten's deal...which is just creating more dead money.

We still don't have a backup QB...

No running backs I'd trust if Zeke got hurt...

You break this team down by position....there isn't a group that doesn't need some improvement.

So please explain why does this POS crew deserve credit? It's a joke how the Cowboy media keeps trying to defend/spin this garbage to the public as we are headed in the right direction when obviously 2018 is already a lost season. Garrett is a lame duck. Fans know it...so why hide the scharade?

Oh yeah...gotta pay for that monstrosity jumbo screen by bilking the fans for every nickle they can.

Anyway....this front office derserves a big fat F. Not only for this off season...but for the last 20.

This franchise is a joke...And I no longer find it amusing. If Jerry Jones cared aboutthe Cowboys...He would sell the team.
Damn this post is harsh but you can't really argue with it. They need help at every single position. LB position scares me the most

I have been arguing most of the points you made, and it makes no sense at all, to not have signed Martin and Lawerence to long-term deals, the longer they wait the more the price goes up, and in Martin's case it might already be too high for an OG. also I'm not sure putting a 2nd round tender on Irving was the right move either.

Cooper would've cost peanuts to keep and is a serviceable LG for us.

As for Witten, the only way we will move on is if he gets injured or retires, this is frustrating as hell, that they can't find a competent TE to groom behind Witten.

A few years back Romo went down, and we trotted Weeden, Cassell, and Moore out there and couldn't win a damn game. you would think they would've learned their lesson then....Nope!!

As for depth, this team has shown itself as clueless as can be, there is never a plan in place if the unexpected were to happen, and when it does they proceed to lose and lose often.

I'm not going to get into the idiotic coaching staff that's in place either.

We have 10 picks in the upcoming draft, if we can nail half of them...it could go along way for this team.

Holy crap! Some of you guys act like Dallas could just dictate their own terms and sign DLaw and Zak to long-term deals. Truth is that these guys get a say in the deal, too. Maybe Dallas made a reasonable offer to both, yet Martin and Lawrence chose to negotiate farther.

Both sides have to agree, but it’s only the FO that gets the blame when a deal doesn’t get done.

be in the present grasshopper
When guys like you and others support everything the Jones' do, they take your money, your support, and run with it. When you guys are a okay every year because they picked this guy up and picked that guy up, why would they ever change? Everyone knows our coaching and GMing stinks, but you're fine with new personnel? Doesn't get any better than 13-3, so what happened? Our coaching was not ready for Aaron Rogers.

Now if you, amongst all of the fans of the Dallas Cowboys, would stand up and say "NO MORE" and stop supporting this pathetic organization, then I guarantee you real change will come. Real change like perhaps firing yourself and hiring a GM, or firing Garrett and his incompetent staff. Bringing in a genuine coach who's not in training.
That's why we've been stagnant for so long. Fans continue to support this pathetic organization and Jones has no incentive to change.

How can Jones go to sleep at night comfortably, knowing that the Eagles, in 2 years, went to the Super Bowl AFTER firing a bad coach? How can Jones live with himself? When he calls up his bank and asks for his bank statements and they tell him 5 billion, that's how he sleeps at night. So if he doesn't give a **** about us the fans, then why should I give a crap about him and his company? I come here because I'm a die hard fan that is stuck on this stupid team, and I'm on a forum so I call it like I see it. I was a fan before Jones even thought about buying this team, and I'm not going to stop because a narcissistic skeleton bought the team.

I will give credit where credit is due sometimes, but I refuse to buy into what Jerry is doing this off season because he does this every year. He does just enough to get the fool fan happy again, and they'll fill up his happy hour dome this year, we'll be bounced from the playoffs, rinse/repeat in 2019. Doesn't get more present than that, pal.

I didn't say the Dallas Cowboys are clean. I see improvement in recent years.
You have valid points about the time it is taking verses teams like Philly and the Rams. McVay is simply the best young coach in the NFL.

This off season's FA acquisitions have made sense to me.
We've got two years to see things work out. At the end of 19 either you get your wish or we're in the tournament.

LOL!!! That's like giving a toddler credit for going potty in the potty...Have our expectations sunk so low that we are now praising the FO for doing their job?

The line took a big step back last year with Cooper at LG. What were you watching?

Did you convince yourself? First off, I don’t support everything the FO does. Not even close. But i also see the positives which you are incapable of because of your blind hate. Is it painful for you to give them any credit for signing Hurns and the others? I suggest you root for the Eagles. You seem to be that type of fan

Wrong. We missed on Sammy Watkins, and that had a domino effect.

I'm still pleasantly surprised with the Hurns signing. Considering what other WRs went for early, I didn't know that in a week's time things would go from over paying to reasonable as quickly as they did. To me it seems like they got Hurns for a July/August signing type of terms.

I agree on this one, for a "$12 million deal", the money is all on the back end. I've read that he gets about $4 million in 2018 with only about $2 million guaranteed.

That's a nice get for this front office and one they deserve some credit for.
