Thanks!

Dez Bryant isn't the first scapegoat for these clowns, and sadly, he won't be the last.

And I'm betting if/when Garrett is fired he doesn't start crying and whining about how underperforming several high-profile players were that played for him.

No, he'll remain the "classy" guy he's always been. The talk will happen behind closed doors like it always does.

Maybe you admire people like that, I don't.

But they can go too- one is often injured and the other one is way past his prime.
Calling out a future HOF player for going to the head coach and telling him the player nonsense has to stop in no way has to do with what Witten or Lee do on the field.

And Lee is still the heart of this defense. Witten, well he kinda needs to go too.

I have a feeling that once Romo left, the player thought that it was his team now. Sadly, only he thought that. And the team finally got tired of him thinking that. So see ya.

Which makes the way the team went about it all the more egregious. They screwed the pooch on this one big time. To have a guy like Dez offer to take a pay cut and you won't even discuss it? That's not shrewd business, that's personal and being self-righteous and other players are going to remember it.

Meanwhile, Crawford has been collecting paychecks for nothing for years...

I would agree with this with most players but not Dez

Dez would have been more trouble if he had taken a pay cut

With emotional players like Dez who perceive themselves as 'the Man' you're either all in or out

There is when he's still far and away better than any of the receivers you have left. When you did nothing to replace him when you actually had the chance.

That's plenty of "justification".

What there isn't "no justification" for is waiting until April 13th to make a decision.

"No justification" for that.

Sorry dude, but Dez hasn't been worth 16 million a year since 2014. Blame whoever you want. He's gone and deserved the exit.

Farrett..choke choke...had very little to do with Dez in this case. Dez is to blame, period. As much as I want to connect it to JG..I can't because Dez' play falls on his own merits or lack of. He's been declining for years.

Cool story bro.

Garrett had much much less to do with it than Jerry and Stephen. Again follow the money v production. This was about getting a better team.

At least he was worth it at some point. The gutless, worthless backstabber has never been worth it.

No it wasn't.

If it was, you don't wait until April 13th.

He's a backstabber. Only thing he's apparently good at.

How is he a backstabber? Did he promise Dez a job in 2018? Garret was probably sick of his antics and it would not shock me at all if he argued very little on Dez's behalf. But, thats not stabbing him in the back.

I'm not a Garret fan but i'm not sure he had much to do with this move. The guy is just another puppet in the room taking his marching orders from the FO.

Any person with a modicum of football sense could look at the volume of work Dez has put forth over the past 3 years and come to the conclusion that for a salary of $12.5 million– The Cowboys were getting hosed.
