How are you going to laugh? Cowboys will try to save face by putting Armstrong on IR or the practice squad for the next 2 years hoping people will not remember a few years earlier we drafted in the 4th when we cut his sorry .. by year 3 .Aruna is a 6th round pick most don't make it that late,but I will bet Aruna stays in the NFL longer than Armstrong. Aruna could get cut but he will be picked up.Armstrong won't be. I have done this too long to know who is going to make it and who won't. Armstrong is cut by the Cowboys by year 3.

Joey Bosa ran a 4.86 40. I don't think anybody is questioning his ability to rush the passer. Pass rushers don't need to be fast, they need to be quick and be able to bend. The important numbers for rushers are their 10 yd split, 3 cone and short shuttle. Let's compare Armstrong to your pet cat Ade Aruna.

Your boy Aruna may have straight line speed, but he has no lateral agility. He can't bend and can't turn the corner. Armstrong may not have Aruna's burst, but it's good enough but he excels in the lateral agility drills, scoring well below the NFL benchmark for a quality pass rusher and amongst the top 5 at the combine. Aruna's lateral agility is downright atrocious and compares closer to an interior lineman than an edge rusher.

your conclusions don't measure heart...or talent. Speed alone doesn't equal production. Some players use technique,power. Your painting a skewed picture.

It has been explained to you how they changed scheme. He was in a 1 gap scheme in 2016 and got 10 sacks, a bunch of FF and TFL. They had some people hurt and so Indiana asked him to put on weight 2 gap and read and react. He got to play undersized 3-4 DE.

You should learn to control your temper then. His jumps and agility drills are good. What do you think is more important for a DE? Being able to leap forward and be quick or run distance?
