I expect Byron and Chido to start- at least initially. Remember, Kris likes big CBs. That doesn't mean Jourdan won't start in the slot.

Agree and I have no problem with this. Even if Jourdan is the slot nickel CB. I imagine the defense will be in nickel a lot this year. I don’t know the state but I imagine it’s usually at least 60% of the snaps where the 3rd CB is on the field. Maybe more.

I'm still waiting on this film that you saw that showed him STARING at an open receiver and not throwing to him.

Mosher (I think) has posted plenty on Twitter. There are some youtube video breakdowns (look at some of the AKOYE ones) that show it a number of times as well.

I am not going to go back through the film just so I can highlight some plays for you. I'm not a reference site. I don't keep detailed records of everything I see just so I can post it on the internet.

Only a fool would actually expect someone to go through all the film and timestamp plays just to make a point on an internet forum. I'm sorry I have a life and can't rewatch every bit of film over and over and chart everything. I don't work for a team in a capacity where that kind of thing is my job.

I've seen it. Others have seen it. If you are truly interested I gave you a few starting points that might cut down on the time a bit, but I'm not going to redo it all just to placate you.

I watched film on him also. If you're talking about him missing a receiver a few times....then yes. But, to say he stares at an open receiver and then goes a different direction doesn't even make sense. And from the film, how could you possibly see that he's staring at the receiver? Unless there is a cam in his helmet, right between his eyes, there's no possible way you can tell that. Even if you see his helmet turn that direction, doesn't mean he's staring at the receiver. He could be possibly looking off the Safety. He could be seeing if the Safety is going to jump the route. So, what your saying is not valid. So, I was just curious on how you came up with that conclusion without a cam in his helmet right between his eyes.

Lol....stop reachin!
His receivers (all receivers including RB) as unit had some of low YAC numbers too as unit 4.46 yac, 1378 total yac for the team. 2 of 3 longest TD passes were to RB, the 3rd was to Dez at 50 yards. Now not all the late throws and throwing his guys in to tackles on him but he did have 4-5 passes a game where he was far enough off target that his receivers were tackled where they caught. A qb needs to maximize his pass to get the most out of each play. Think if he throws to a guy on a 3rd and 7 and the guy runs a designed route of 6 yards with the intent he will be able to gain a yard on his own but the pass gets there late or off target and his receiver is tackled at the catch because he had to stop, go to the grown or was lead to far to sideline to turn up the field.

Dallas was in the bottom 5 in YAC avg per comp
Dallas was in the bottom 5 in total YAC as a team.

The top 5 in yac avg per comp, Rams, Commanders, Lions, Jags, and Saints
The top 5 teams in total YAC, Saints, Steelers, Chargers, Commanders, Chiefs

Not accurate.

Dez couldn't get separation. Beasley was doubled. Those were our 2 best recievers. What recievers besides those 2 got consistent serparation? Brice Butler was a one trick pony, deep speed was his separation. The others wr's on the roster? TWill, what impact did he have last year? He wasn't showing up during the games with his so called separation.

I've seen too much film of Dak "going through his progressions" to think it's a strength. He will often be looking at a WR who is open and he should throw the ball, but he will hold onto it and go to his next progression. Then he will throw it to this person, who is less open and less likely to gain more yards. Or it will be a dump off. Or he will now be late getting the ball out (which sometimes he holds it too long just staring at the guy he ends up throwing to, resulting in the same), causing the pass to be defended. And sometimes he just holds it too long and he is sacked/fumbles.

He just doesn't see the field all that well, and can be a bit timid on cutting it loose. There's of course his mechanics, weak arm, and accuracy as well, but that's a different subject from his progressions.
He saw the film pretty good his rookie year somehow......

I'm not sure what you mean the plan all along was these two starting and they probably should due to size
and talent. Byron Jones could be a very nice Corner he was out of position at Safety. The only question can
Chiwi baby stay healthy. That's the big question.

Your starting assumptions are not accurate.

Who saw the film pretty good his rookie year? He had problems in 2016 as well. You guys just keep denying what is there. You make him out to be the second coming, and then make excuses to why he's not. You bought into false hope and are now fully in denial.
