I'm not going to make a graph out of this one, but here's % of games to throw for <=200 yards

Prescott: 35.5% (for those that like to look for anomalies, there's a 10 game streak to start his career without throwing <=200 yards, putting the most recent 21 games at 52.4%)
Wentz: 27.6%
Brady: 20.9%
Brees: 15.9%
Rodgers: 15.1%
Romo: 14.4%

Where do you get the raw data. Looks like an example of regression to the mean. Nice work.

Now how about comparing QBs whose teams run it 50% of the time?

Sure.

In 2017:

Tyrod Taylor 7/14 (50%).
Nathan Peterman: 2 starts, 0 qualifying games.
Another game split between Webb and Peterman.
Forced to combine QBs to get qualifying games and counting the game of backups:
Buffalo: 8/16 (50%)

Blake Bortles: 5/15 (33.3%). Other game didn't qualify, but one more attempt can only be worth 99 yards which wouldn't be enough, so 6/16 (37.5%)

I am a big Dak fan (obviously).

That being said. Even I recognize that putting Dak into an offense where he would be expected to pass 30-40 times a game, would be a big mistake.

That’s not Dak’s game. Dak is a very good QB for a run first offense. It plays into his strengths much better.

Which was just one fewer than Wentz had in 2017 and he was being touted as MVP and two more than Wentz had in 2016 when the talent around him was not as good. Funny how that excuse is okay for Wentz, but means Dak can't carry a team.

The big difference between Wentz and Dak is you wont see defenses walking up 8 or 9 in the box to stop Jay Ajayi and smother the short passing game. Dak needs to prove this season that he is able to make a defense pay for that.

All right baby!!!!! Ya ya let's keep drafting and paying for Off-lineman and run run run run till either Zeke is killed out there or we have to punt the ball and keep forgetting our defense baby( no cap available) so Dak can have a Job ......America's team with a QB who is limited in how many throws we can trust him with .....we have reached new lows in Fan expectations under the Dak reign....Tostitos anyone????

Last season Wentz had 3 games under 200 yds passing and Dak had 8 games under 200 yards passing.

Funny how some people think Dak's rookie year was going to be the way his whole career was going to go. If you think any QB in any offensive system is going to get away with throwing four interceptions or less every year, than you've been playing too many video games set to "easy".

If Dak put up his 2017 stats as a rookie, we'd all be saying he had a heck of a year for a young quarterback. But because he had a record setting rookie year two seasons ago, he set the bar so high it's almost impossible for him to ever live up to that standard again.

The team comes first for me, the players come and go. I like anyone who helps the team. Having said that, you can't present stats like this as an argument when you don't acknowledge stats like these https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_rating_career.htm

Look where Romo is and look where other notable QBs are.
Romo's best season was when, surprise, Murray had a career year. He managed to maintain an average QB Rating of 97.1 throughout his career.
Daks' best season was when, surprise, Zeke had a career year. Dak is currently at a career QB Rating of 95.5.
Crack a beer and enjoy the damn game people. That is all.
P.S. Please give me likes. @Risen Star is embarrassing me. :muttley:

Out of curiosity. Why is < or > 200 yards passing, anymore of a valid stat, than QB rating?
It isn't. In fact, yards have nowhere near the correlation to wins that passer rating has.

In 2017, teams averaged 224 passing yards per game, with a passer rating of 85.

< 224 yards passing
W 114 L 146 .438
< 85 passer rating
W 68 L 184 .270

224+ yards passing
W 141 L 111 .560
85+ passer rating
W 187 L 72 .722

A team that has a below-average passer rating in every game most likely finishes the season with 4-5 wins, while the most likely outcome for a team whose passer rating is average or better in every game is an 11-12 win season.

Conversely, a team that throws for above average yardage in every game will go 9-7, while a team that throws for below average yardage in every game will go 7-9.
