Crazy how these people make as much money as they do.
Crazy how you are the reason “these people” make as much as they do.
Which messsge board has people talking about you and your job performance?
Which TV Network exists solely to talk about you and your job 24/7?

Least I pay my own light bill, wouldn't be surprise if you have some program pay for yours.

I do actually. It's called automatic bill pay. Paid straight from my checking account. Now if only there were a program to fix your sentence structure, all would be well on the range.

Everyone has “personal problems”. Everyone.

Not everyone is unable to continue their commitment to being a professional because of their personal problems. There are probably a dozen Cowboys players currently fighting through some big personal or family issues and somehow they are able to stay in shape, be on time, and remain completely capable of doing their job well.

This kind of stuff is why David Irving should not get a second contract. This kind of unreliability is a fundamental flaw that should prevent the Cowboys from staying committed to Irving. He has talent, but it takes a lot more than talent to be a successful professional athlete.

This just in....not all people are the same, and it DOES NOT show what type of person they are. There are praobly MANY issues in play here that we do not know about, AND do not need to know about.

Take off you selfish blinders as a fan and think as a person...and it is the off season by the way. He is at mini camp and OTA's are Voluntary as well.

I could be judgmental and say this tells me what type of a person you are to think the way you do on your post...but I don't do that sort of thing, so I won't.

and I doubt there are "dozens" of cowboys going through the same thing.

We have no time to fix people issues. This is not a Get Well Foundation .If a player is not ready move on to the next.

Then half the teams in all sports will have a huge roster turnover every week.
I guess if you have issues for a few weeks, then your employer, if not self employed, should just replace you then, and every other person that is going through some issues.

I heard on the way home yesterday his daughter was illegally taken from him and he had to go back to California to get her back. This guy deserves a pass imo.

Yes going back and forth to CA and TX, if that is what he was doing, will take a toll on anyone. And the last thing most think is...where am I going to work out. When his daughter needed him...

....where is dad...oh he is working out so some fans won't criticize him. He will be here when he is in shape to appease fans even though it is the off season.....

but that is not in the mindset of some to understand that.

David Irving returns, speaks from Day 1 of Cowboys minicamp

"It feels great to be back out there working with my boys," said Irving during the first day of minicamp, via Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News. "I had a lot of stuff going on in the offseason as you all know and I'm working through it the best that I can and put it behind me and focus on the season."

Irving was going to open up more to the media but veteran defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who is now tasked with taking on more of a leadership role in the locker room, stopped Irving short by reminding him he could do that on Day 2 of minicamp instead of using valuable time from his first day back. Irving then made it clear he'd say more in his next media session, the exchange between players also offering up a taste of Lawrence's new role atop the food chain in the absence of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.

Pampering of players is unreal... this is a common issue for many individuals in this country and they can’t let it effect their work

Dude have your lawyer handle it and put your head in the game and let the lawyer do what he’s paid for.. if he can’t handle it pay someone who will make it easy for you
Man,that's easier said than done, when we got that instant text messaging, where those conniving female creatures in vindictive timing can spark off a firestorm up in the wheelhouse ,pretty much at will once they know you well enougho_O

I will not judge him. I am not fighting for the custody of my daughter. I will wish him the best.
Unfortunately if you weren’t going through it yourself you may be in the judging zone like most though. I’ve noticed that on here. The lack of perspective and ability to put yourself in another persons shoes even if you’ve never dealt with the particular situation. See Randy Gregory

Looks like the 'pecking order' is in play& being established & that's a good thing, just observing #95's reaction tells me his head is in the game:starspin::thumbup::starspin:

Nothing says more than a family man then a guy who posts pictures of himself in a three way. Exceptional role model to his child!
Ya,that wasn't the brainiest of options to have employed on #95's endo_O

Agree and like I said they clearly said his daughter was more or less abducted illegally. Hearing this the kid needs a break and support right now.

We're not talking about a house deal gone bad, we're talking about his own flesh and blood. Kinda hard to not be invested in the day to day developments of that. Not everyone turns to work as a distraction.

Well what can he do? All he can do is show the court he is a hard worker who had a stable job and a good home to provide while keeping a huge distance from his ex who has slandered his name twice...

Look I get you wanna be emotional about this but if you wanna stick yourself in a dark hole and wanna cry every night about it I Think that’s he wrong way of handling the situation

former philly coach andy reid chose to spend more time on the job as he ignored the problems in his household. two of his sons were arrested on the same day, one for a road rage incident and the other for heroin dealing. the oldest is now dead. reid later took a leave of absence from the eagles to be with his family, something he neglected for years. give david irving kudos for caring about his daughter. some need to walk a mile in someone elses shoes.

Marinelli states they are trying to help him. Custody battles are a huge emotional and financial drain on resources.

I can attest to that through personal experience. Had to endure one during my doctoral program. Hope that the organization continues to vouch for him and give him the resources he needs to be successful. Wishing David the best.
