Ok he's got the best offline and best HB in the NFL. Had a no 1 wr and a stud TE but they didn't work for his style of play. Now what else will you Dak-bots post here that he is missing in order to get him to franchise level play?
Should we bring in Julio Jones, and Antonio Brown so your excuses can finally stop and maybe even you guys can finally admit that he simply doesn't have the talent base to excel at QB for us or any other NFL team?
In the end the Dak-Damage this team will incur before he is benched for good will cost us valuable years we simply can't afford!
The level of support for a QB that his film clearly shows has the talent base of Tim Tebow simply amazes me!
Oh well go Dak lol

Pappy , go to any Tyrod Taylor video on YouTube and read the comments from Bills fans..

We will all eventually get tired of Prescott just as the Bills fans (and front office) got tired of Tyrod Taylor's "high QBR , zero touchdowns , 160 yards" games..

I only hope we realize this before we give the bus driver a huge contract.

Ya think we're safe there as the FO (barring a Dak miracle) know that Dak is NOT the answer at QB..in fact after JG comments on Dak needing to improve in ALL areas and drafting Mike White QB I figure Mr. Prescott is on the clock for his new future on the bench....and he will be missing the target even from there....

Dak is going to have to be impressive when the chips are down and not every thing is going right and not all of his players are there for him to lean on and win games or the cowboys will never get where they are wanting to go

When was the last time they got where they wanted to go?
If Dak does all that you said, will he take us to the SB like Romo did? Oh wait.....

Romo was playing his best ball in his last real season. Historically good ball. I'd give most of the credit to Romo, but Wade was the QB coach.

Wade also coached himself up to a Pro Bowl and Super Bowl title.

Remind me again what Rudy has accomplished by comparison.

Success as a player doesn't always transition to success as a coach, besides we're discussing Moore being the quarterback coach, not a player.

Wilson was a quarterback coach for 17 years, this is Moore's first year. Of course Rudy hasn't accomplished anything as a quarterback coach, check back in 17 years and we can compare the two.

"It was crazy to watch Chidobe Awuzie stay with Tavon Austin in coverage on the goal line. Austin must have darted five different directions trying to shake Awuzie, but he couldn’t do it. The overall coverage was so good that Prescott was forced to pull the ball down and try to score on his own."

This is more impressive than anything else in that article.

Tyrod Taylor never played anywhere close to as well as Dak did in 2016.

Darn that Dak! Hasn't become a SB winning, All Pro quarterback by his second year! We all know every SB winning quarterback was an instant success, right?

MOST people in any career take at least several years to reach their top potential, Dak may not turn out to be that good, but it's too early to tell...

Taylor has been in the league 7 years, that's enough time to see what he can do, and yes I'd also get tired of low yard and td games.

But 7 years is a far cry from 2 years. San Diego gave up on Brees, didn't think he'd recover from a shoulder injury, but after record seasons and a SB title, think they wish they'd been a bit more patient? Cardinals and Giants gave up on Warner, who won a SB with the Rams. Commanders gave up on Brad Johnson, who won a SB with Tampa Bay. And those guys were with the team before the SB win more than 2 years.

Give the man a chance...

Yay! More coaching trainees! A decade of Garrett wasn't enough! More! More! More!

It's not like we have a young QB who needs lots of development *now*. Dak can wait 17 years.

Ooohhhhh you and your cousin... that makes us all fall in line... well every long time cowboy fan I meet says the same thing I say. Dak throws high can't read defense and should not be starting. We've watched games since the 70's most likely long before you were born. But go ahead cousin. Me and my cousins and nephews disagree.

The 70s? Really. That means you lived through stagflation. Awesome. Say hi to everyone at the old folks home for me.

Dak just need more game experience. Not lots of development now. He showed what he was capable of in 2016 and last year before TSmith was out and Zeke got suspended.

Dak's technique went to hell in the back half of last year. It's fair enough to blame Wilson and the offensive staff for that. Nonsense to claim that Moore, who was here last year, is the answer to those problems.

Because Dak was getting blitzed non stop after TSmith and Zeke went out, duh. Of course his technique dropped off. He was forcing it to Dez and Witten, and looking for any other reciever who could get open regularly which was not the norm. As I said before, the 2016 Dak and the 1st half Dak of last year was playing on a pro bowl level.

Yeah from hero to zero. Maybe if he started practicing and working on his mechanics. Just maybe He could still play like an MVP.

Because usually MVPs still play like MVPs regardless of whose injured.
Maybe if the OL was allowing him to step into his throws his mechanics wouldn't have magically got worst

Why do you think that? Because starting in Atlanta is when Dak started having issues...... Enlighten everybody the starting LT that game was and how many sacks he gave up by himself

You're only looking at a few games. Last season before Atlanta Dak has 3 straight games with 3 or more TDs not including his rushing scores.

Oh no... without Smith in the lineup, Dak went from playing with 3 first team All-Pros on the OL to only two first team All-Pros. How exactly is a QB supposed to play under these awful conditions? And of course, even though it says that Tyron Smith missed 3 games last year, he actually missed all 8 games that Dak played like a bottom 5 QB. The game logs are lying.
The idiotic things people say on here are embarrassing sometimes.
