Can the last remaining Dez fans at least accept who he really is?

It is always the same with the same kind of people.

People who have too much self confidence and lack intellectual developement always claim they are objective.

People who are interessted in things and how they work learned that being objective is a near impossible thing. Especially when it comes to opinion. Those people are very careful before calling themself objective.

It takes charakter and knowledge to stand others opinions. Its easy to say i am right because i am objective. I dont think there would have been any meaningful scientific evolution would we all have been people like the latter. Thank God for the brain!
Well said.
And some people are actually objective. I get that the majority of people can’t be objective but some actually can be. Some people are left brain dominant and some are right brain dominant. Most are a mess that falls in between. I’m very left brain dominant. To a fault in some cases. My self confidence is high. My intellectual development is also high.

The OP is extreme in his lack of ability to be objective when it comes to Dez. He has posted thousands of anti Dez rants. To the point that it’s hard to say if he even believes what he says or if he just enjoys trying to troll cowboys fans. Either way objectivity isn’t something he can or wants to even think about.

Being objective...(there it is again) I can see both sides. It’s possible that Dez has issues dealing with his emotions while it also being true that he was the scapegoat of the JG and Linehan.

I have always been a fan of his, but I never had any illusions about mental stability with him. TO be honest I have always seen a lot of the #1 WR's as emotionally unstable. Doesn't mean I don't still enjoy seeing them play the game. He is a man child, I thought everyone always knew that. None of the happenings this week really caught me by surprise. I doubt he is done venting either.

Yeah. He's just getting a head of steam built up. Hopefully someone will trigger his next outburst soon.

I would seriously like to know if the die hard Dez fans can accept that Dez isn't emotionally stable and is probably a bit of a problem for a team to deal with?

Having seen his recent twitter meltdown is it that far fetched to see that he was problematic for the Cowboys?

This isn't about his skill set or whether he was top 5 or anything else. That's a whole different debate that we aren't going to address in this thread. All of that can be debated at another time.

I would just like to know if you guys can objectively see what the Cowboys were having to deal with regarding Dez. The Amazon Prime series is also consistent with this twitter meltdown.

Is there anyone on this board that still thinks Dez isn't seriously problematic from an emotional stability point of view?
I was super pissed when they cut him, but he has shown his true colors since. I could over look his lack of production, because I thought he was a good teammate. Its seems like that wasn't the case. What do I know though, I was pissed when they cut TO. He was at least still a great wr when we cut him, unlike Dez.

You always try to distract from the original point because you don't like it! It is hilarious!

You described it as “perennial”. What you are talking about now is an approximate average over Garrett’s career (actually 9-7 would be the average). Perennial and average are not the same thing.

And saying I don’t care I Joe Lebowski in Peoria, Ill laughs at the Cowboys or not is not the same thing as saying I don’t care if the Cowboys are a relevant threat to win anything significant.

And saying that I think your mental image of NFL fans everywhere laughing at the Cowboys, as if they are the Browns, is exaggerated also isn’t the same as saying I don’t care if the team wins. It seems you feel the need to exaggerate to prop up your points.
We are the definition of average. You can choose to get upset because fans say how JG has produced 8-8 results but the results are the results. We have not been relevant or consistently anything but average or disappointing since he got here.

No need to prop up points. Feel how you want about our perception around the league. It’s well deserved. We are not a top tier organization under JG and company.

You can argue semantics and split hairs or get yourself worked up over something that doesn’t matter.
We are an average team who needs everything to go right to have a playoff chance. If we make the playoffs we will be outperforming expectations. We are middle of the road average.

See I love that sort of honesty. I respect it. I was a fan of Dez too at one time. But I was against the contract and unfortunately I was right about that.

I just don't get why people are still defending Dez. I understand them being Dez fans but how does someone pretend Dez is emotionally stable or isn't a train wreck/cancer at this point defies belief.

What’s hilarious is how you get upset when other posters make points you don’t like. You think because you started the thread you own it and you get to choose where it goes and what points others are allowed to make.

You don’t..

It's funny how you want to derail the thread. I'm literally laughing at you guys for still pretending Dez is an infallible super hero. You won't address issues straight up. You MUST find a scapegoat for Dez because your super hero cannot have any chinks in the armor. Lol.

I really don't care about Dez. I enjoy discussing him because I find it interesting how you guys absolutely refuse to use reason when I comes to Dez.

Ha! I was just over in the Lee thread and there are posters in there suggesting that the same thing is true about Dez. Maybe this thread is just game recognizing game, lol.

Told my son he could have my Dez jersey to use as a practice jersey in pee wee this year. I'm a Cowboys fan first and a fan of the players second. I defended Dez to anyone that would listen for years, but its clear the guy has issues and it was time to move on.

I commented on what you actually said, and your rebuttle to that is based on something you did not say, and you support it by suggesting I have said things I did not say. You don’t even have semantics to stand on, you are just adjusting your narrative, and even exaggerating and fabricating.

As for us not being a top tier organization at this point, I never suggested otherwise, but there is a lot of territory between not being top tier, and being a constant joke among all NFL fans and the league itself.

Back when Dez was scoring TDs it was all fun and games. I cheered as loud as anyone for him.

But how anyone can defend Dez at this point has their head under a rock.

You can't really have a rational conversation with him. He just wants to bully everyone into believing the same things he does. He wants to silence anyone who doesn't agree with him and makes everything personal. Lol. He really gets his panties all bunched up in a wad fairly easily.

You can just literally feel the hate he has for me because I look at Dez differently than he does. It's crazy but you can see it. I'm just having fun having a conversation about a reasonable point of view, but he will have none of it. Lol

David Wells would be the first person that would confirm that, from his Rookie season.

...Hey man...is that a cat that you caught?
...jeez...you could have ended up like Noah...:)
