Can the last remaining Dez fans at least accept who he really is?

All off season we went at it about the state of the Dallas Cowboys. I like what I'm seeing and I cant convince you,Onyx or others.
We'll go through this season and loads of answers will be found. Your a reasonable sharp poster aria lets address this in Jan or Feb.
All the best.
I wasn’t trying to bring you down buddy, although it’s hard for me to get behind some of your optimism I still appreciate it. As you alluded to, we’ll find out a lot more this season but right now there’s too many unknowns (defense for me personally, I think the offense will rock) for me to get overly excited. I guess I’m what you would call cautiously optimistic at best but mainly neutral...like Switzerland :)

He could’ve been the bigger man and not responded, but don’t act like he openly sought this trouble with Stephen and the rest purely on his own.

I’m sorry, have you been watching the Cowboys flounder around in this league for the past 20+ years? If you’re not angry then you should be. Perhaps I should be like you and set myself up for disappointing year after year after decade after decade.
Im probably a little bit older than you, and I truly understand the frustration of not being a championship caliber franchise since 1995.
I also understand that this league has changed since the days of building a dynasty was actually relevant.
I understand that this team is probably going to be an 8-8 team this year.
That does not make me less of a fan, just a realistic fan.

Last I knew dez had stopped until Stephen said him BY NAME.

And Dez reacted to it like an angry child. If I had to deal with that every day he'd better be the greatest player in the world. Otherwise, he's not worth the hassle.

I would seriously like to know if the die hard Dez fans can accept that Dez isn't emotionally stable and is probably a bit of a problem for a team to deal with?

Having seen his recent twitter meltdown is it that far fetched to see that he was problematic for the Cowboys?

This isn't about his skill set or whether he was top 5 or anything else. That's a whole different debate that we aren't going to address in this thread. All of that can be debated at another time.

I would just like to know if you guys can objectively see what the Cowboys were having to deal with regarding Dez. The Amazon Prime series is also consistent with this twitter meltdown.

Is there anyone on this board that still thinks Dez isn't seriously problematic from an emotional stability point of view?

Why is it so important to you that others have to accept your opinion ?
Has Dez really that big of an influence on your life ?
I think you should let this thing just go.

He is your A typical alpha personality, borderline sociopathic personality.
He will always be right in his own head, despite everyone telling him he is wrong.
He will never change his mind on anything that Dez accepts as rational,,, which is irrational in the real world.
I feel sorry for the Browns if they sign him, a franchise that is slowly starting to make progress,, Dez will send them back down the hill.
I agree w/ what you're saying, except for the alpha part. IMO, Dez possibly sees himself as Alpha, but doesn't have a clue as to what it really is and what is expected of an Alpha as far as actions and such.

IMO i think its different. Dez wont accept any rational argument when his inner feel says to gim he is right.

He is a very emotional driven guy who has to learn that life is not what he has learned as a kid.

That only translates one way at this level.

No it’s an observation and an opinion.
This is a message board and that’s what we do.

How about addressing the question presented. Crazy idea I know.

Did you ever answer my original question?

There are different ways to state an opinion.

You can state it with the sense there are others who have other opinions and show by the way you tell your opinion that you respect them for having it. That shows your open minded way. That you are interessted in learning about other point of views. That to want to develop yourself as an individuum.

Or there is the way you did it.

You missed the part about why does JG get to keep his job.
You seem confused about how discussions really work. This isn’t a court case where we can only answer the OPs question without actually presenting our side or questions.
And we are viewed as a wildcard contender if everything goes well. After 8 years, several HOF players, the best RB and OL in the game. The offensive player of year, offensive rookie of the year, and more we should have something to show for it other than being an up and comer.

We already know the answer. Lol. You vicious crows can't be objective. Just try to silence the debate. It's ok. We know deep down inside that Dez is emotionally immature and weak. And you can't accept that. It's OK. That's what makes the world go round.

I respect your right to think that. What's not ok is you vicious crows trying to silence any criticism of Dez.

Can the OP please seek professional help for his unhealthy obsession? Many of us are genuinely concerned for his mental and emotional well-being.

I hope I didn’t say or imply you were less of a fan, that wasn’t my intention at all. We all have the same hopes but different expectations of what we think will happen. Personally I see us as a fringe 10-11 win team win but I think the other top caliber teams in the NFC are much better off than we are. I’m hoping for a similar strategy as 2016 and don’t see why it can’t be successful.

Of course my prediction changes on a weekly basis, haha.

So no answer?
I thought you wanted a discussion?
