It’s Just Preseason but the way we lost that game brings back so many bad memories

I think Dallas won that game. I haven't looked, but peek over to a 49ers board and see if they're pleased with the way the teams looked.

OUR 2ND TEAMERS COULD HAVE BEATEN THEIR STARTERS IN A REAL GAME.

I never liked how Marinelli, often, goes soft at the end of halves.

Last night didn't dissuade my hatred of that at all.

Of course it didn’t. Those 4th stringers.....

The 4th stringer excuse is lame and weak but I expect that from you.

We've seen the same soft, deep zones in past regular season games, with starters, and it's cost us.

I don't care about the loss last night. It's meaningless.

I can't predict the future, but if we do not see improved safety play with our 1st and 2nd teamers against Cincy this coming week, we will see something happen with Earl Thomas quickly. Coach Richard will be in Will McClays office tellin him go get him. I'm willing to give the guys a mulligan only because its the first game action all year...so that said, their will be no free pass in this next game. They better show marked improvement.

I know it’s just preseason, but the way we lost that game brings back so many bad memories of games we should have won, but gave away at the end. Also, I can’t help it, but Garrett is so annoying. After White goes to the sideline after completing a short dump of pass to the RB who makes a nice move to get the first down, Garrett gives White a shove in the chest like he just got the game ending 1st down. Shortly after the shove, we fail to get a 1st down and SF gets the ball and slices through our( 3rd-4th string) D like butter. Garrett celebrating like the game is over is just annoying and typical Garrett. Belicheat never celebrates until his team wins the Super Bowl, let alone in a preseason game. Regarding the game: Run D has potential, but not impressed with our pass rush or our Corners, other than Byron Jones. Chido seems over hyped. Lewis and Brown both struggled. Jaylon looked quick. In general, receivers looked pretty good. Our rookie G has potential, though he did get beat bad on the early sack. Dak will top 5 QB if the O line holds up and the passing scheme is less predictable this year.

Dude, it's pre-season.

Because the issue last night at the end of both halves isn't something we've only seen from Marinelli when he's played bad players in preseason games.

His soft zone look shows up in the regular season when he's playing his ones. We've been burnt in the past where teams have just carved us up because he's playing soft zones late in halves trying to prevent the big play but teams just gobble up yardage quickly anyway and score.

You would have a much better argument if what we saw last night was a preseason anomaly. It's not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't we in 14-0 when the 1's and 2's were out there?

Don't repeat this, its totally a secret but the most important thing about that game is that we didn't have any major injuries and the two rookies we are hoping will start (Williams and Gallup) looked like they can do it.

Please don't tell anyone.

Always hate losing, but it's just preseason. No 4-0 preseason team has ever won a Super Bowl, so I'm cool with a loss. Let's pick up a win in week 2 or 3 when the starters play longer.

You’re unbelievable. You’ll go to any lengths to ***** about the Cowboys. The 1st team was up 14-0. The defense was dominant. THe offense as well. Yet you want to wet your panties over the 4th quarter with 5 mins left and no players playing who will make the team. Like it mattered. Sheez your hate has festered your brain.
