Jerry..

The Texans can't stop the pass..

They stopped our pass..

You know why Jerry?

Because we can't pass.
This post was brilliant by it's simplicity. Why would any team develop a game plan to stop our passing game when our own coaches do not have a game plan to pass and we do not have a QB that can pass. Why would any team try and beat us when we continuously beat ourselves by personnel moves, bad coaching, and poor execution of the 5 plays that Garrett uses.

When I was in high school our football coach ran a play and it was successful. So he ran the same play 185 times in a row (I'm not kidding, there was actually a story in the local newspaper about it) and what do you know. We lost every game the rest of the season. My high school coach and Garrett are cut from the same cloth. Just because something worked once doesn't mean it will work again

I am 43 years old and about 5'4, maybe 5'5 if I stand on my tippie toes. A NBA team can make a bold statement by signing me to a contract and then announcing that they can build a team around me. I'd be all for that actually. But the problem is, is that you can build a team around and it doesn't change the fact that I absolutely would be worthless on a basketball court unless you want someone to elbow the other players in the groin. I can do that. My point is, Jerry can build a team around Dak, but that team most likely will suck. I would like Jerry to build a coaching staff around his team and seek psychiatric help for insanity. Now that would be a news worthy tweet.

That would never happen due to your age... since NBA players are not that good in their late 30s and 40s. Look at Dirk now compared to 2011.

Put talent around Dak and on D and that team could take a team with bad receivers, bad TE, and bad safeties but with an elite QB.

Man, way to crush my dreams. Lol. I agree with your take on Dak, I think he can be elite but I would like Jerry to think more of putting together an all star coaching staff to build around Dak instead of an all star team with no direction and leadership from the top.

Have you all not watched some of the film that’s been put on here? More importantly, have you watched the games?

Dak will never be elite. He doesn’t have the talent.

If we are going to have success then we must start with an entire new coaching staff and a Quarterback that has the ability and potential to make all the throws and facilitate an explosive offense.

Jerry has no choice but to say this at this point in season. He' knows it's over, Jason G and Dak are gone.

Once again Young Man. I am not interested in personal stats. Only championships. Passing yards only mean the team played catch up a lot. How many passing leaders won Super Bowls in the same season? No rush. I’ll patiently wait for your answer. Lol
I think that being able to pass the ball would help win championships. I know it's hard to keep up, but the QB's can only control the majority of the passing game which is only 1/4th (pass offense, rush offense, pass defense, rush defense) of the game. They are reliant on their teammates for the other 3/4ths of the game, so regardless of how good they play, they might not win. If they do their job well, they give more of a cushion for the other parts of the game, and vice versa if they do poorly.

Romo generally played his part well, and had the rest of the team letting him down, while Dak is currently doing his part quite poorly and the rest of the team hasn't been able to make up for his weaknesses.

It’s hard being a Cowboy fan.

It's getting a lot easier because I find myself caring less each year.

I've grown to genuinely dislike Jerry Jones, and don't give me the "great owner but terrible GM" garbage. A great owner would have the self awareness to realize his failings and hire a GM in the interest of winning, but it isn't about winning for Jerry anymore. Sure, he'd like to win. But what matters most is being a "football guy", talking on the radio like he actually has a clue, people putting microphones in his face to hear his latest round of gibberish. He's not a great owner. He's great at making money.

I never was fond of his arrogant putz of a son who was born on third base then struts around like he's some football guru who hit a triple. He's accomplished nothing in his career other than being Jerry's son. Yeah, they'll be rich until the day they die. Good for them. But I'm done putting money in their pockets, and part of me is starting to enjoy them looking like morons year after year. I don't expect that to change any time soon. I expect it will just get worse.

These Jones boys don't demand excellence. They just enjoy the fame this job brings. They love the reporters chasing them, being quoted in the media, having radio shows, having a war room camera focused on them.

I’m sure they want to win. I don’t think money has anything to do with it. I believe they just love the job they own and enjoy having a bunch of boot lickers working with them telling them how great they are.

They don’t win because they don’t demand excellence. They only demand loyalty and subordination.
