You guys are really sick and delusional. Your infatuation with Romo is like that girl you dated in High School or college that you never slept with. You just keep stalking and wishing you’d get a second chance. It’s over man! Damn!! Let it go.

In the past 24 hours you’ve called those who have different opinions “sick” “delusional” “hypocritical” “hateful” ...and guilty of “blasphemy”. (Your words) Sorry but I don’t want to continue to see your posts. I’m setting you to ‘ignore’.

You don’t seem capable right now of thoughtful discussion.

With how things have been going this year if we had Romo back for one just game that would probably make for the most exciting game to watch, or at least restore some hope. As others have mentioned there's just an unemotional connection I feel as if it were 2002 all over. Almost everyone is waiting for change and that's not what we should be doing, but that's the only thing I'm holding on to.

It likely won’t happen, but if Tony wants to play...I hope it happens.

So you think it’s normal, rational or even realistic to have this supreme infatuation for a retired quarterback who’s never won anything meaningful? Seriously??? LMAO :lmao2: Please do us both a favor and put me on ignore. This bs is really sad to witness.

the facts regarding romo and injuries is that since he became a starter in 2007, he missed more games due to injury than any other qb in the league during the same time. shockingly enough, neither eli or phillip rivers missed a single game time in that same span. romo has moved on. he's the best analyst on tv now. he plays golf more often. he has time to be with his wife and kids. no doubt it is the dream of many here that their beloved tony return to qb again, but I doubt that's tony's dream. he's got his health,, his family, a nice financial portfolio and he still gets to be around the game he loves. taman.

I wonder if there were as many fans wishing Danny White, Gary Hogeboom or Babe Laufenberg would return during Troy Aikman’s early years. LMAO :lmao2:This bs is hilarious.

one way to put this in perspective is
say Lee was retired and the team suddenly needed a linebacker
they offered Lee a ridiculous amount for his position like 14 million to come back

how confident would you feel?
because Romo was hurt (seriously injured) more than Lee over the last few years

That hit Dak just took from Watt would’ve most likely hurt Romo. Just because the rules are in place doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Are you really that young and naive? Come on man. Be real with yourself. You ain’t convincing me with this bs. Why are you guys holding on to a quarterback we’ve never won anything meaningful with? The Romo era is over. Whether or not Dak is the future, Romo is the past. Move on.
I don't need to convince you, but I will still argue my thoughts on the subject. I'm aware that I won't change your mind. It doesn't make you right. I promise you, I'm neither young nor naive. No need to try to be insulting because we don't see things the same way.

Doubtful, for many reasons. There were a lot of people screaming for Walsh to replace him however.

Not trying to be insulting. But you don’t think this subject is naive? Romo ain’t coming back. And if he did what makes you think he could do now what he couldn’t do then? I’m not understanding this. Romo ain’t nothing but a stats hound. He’s not a winner. He’s not capable of carrying a team. He’s not a HOF quarterback. He’s never been an MVP. So what’s this illusion all about? I don’t get it.

Apples and Oranges. LB's have to smash their bodies into linemen and TE's and RB's on nearly every single play and thus are a heck of a lot open to injury than a QB. Especially with the new rules protecting QB's. LB's have no such protection.

Not arguing that. You think Dak is good enough to win a single ring?
Honestly? I don’t know. He needs help tho. All quarterbacks need help. I’m just not one who subscribes to the bs about him not being able to play in the league. As so many try to insinuate.

I would bring back tony romo as the head coach. someone with a good offensive mind set. and i'm being serious. he would get his revenge on garrett for turning his back on him. he'd make 6-7 million a year. he'd get lots of exposure which he clearly enjoys. a marriage made in heaven.

yeah but Romo's injuries have been broken bones, punctured lung, broken back/herniated disc that he had surgery for

I'm just guessing but I would say most qbs even if they don't get sacked, get hit
if I were a DC my mission would be to hit Romo early and often even if it meant extra risk
because if you take him out of the game, you win. and teams knew that now imagine vs a very fast talented defense like the Jags
then you have your missing center and rookie guard that makes it that much more difficult

he might be fine but I wouldn't want to see him getting plastered

You may be right, but if they get him out of the game then we have Dak to back him up...

Those numbers aren’t really statistically significant. Pretty much all of them come from two seasons, 2006 and 2015. All it means is he has too injuries in two seasons that required a significant time healing.

Plus it’s fudging because you are simply comparing him to starters that began in 2007. If I adjust by one year, to 2008, meaning A YEAR LESS playing time as a starter, for Aaron Rodgers, these QBs are pretty much identical in terms of ‘fragility’.

Just some friendly advise brother; your obsession with this hypothetical is truly approaching unhealthy levels. Most people can agree or disagree without getting completely and dramatically immersed in either possible outcome. Did Tony have a one night stand with your girl or something? Seriously amigo, get some help before you get season tickets on the spectrum.
