The Walking Dead-Season 9, Episodes 1-8

The new Judith is Cailey Fleming (she also played young Rey in The Force Awakens), she is 11 since March. March 25, 2007. So it looks like 6 years later.
i heard 9 on walking dead but it could have been referencing something else. i looked it up and they don't say online so if it was specific someone would know i believe. :)

in any event, new sherrif'ette in town. :)

I heard 7 years later… But whatever... lol

we can all agree "many years have passed as little judith grew up and rick remained MIA..."

Yes, interesting that at least one proposed movie is on the drawing board showing what happens to Rick at his new home during the time-jump.

In the graphic novel both Rick & Carl spend a lot of time talking to Negan in his jail cell.

I wonder if that becomes Michonne & Judith now.

And there's no doubt in my mind that Negan will become a factor during the upcoming "Whisperer" arc.

They definitely showed Judith talking with him. She's basically become Coral.....Carl.

I thought the new writer took over?
There have been new writers and a new head producer, but Gimple co-wrote this one per the credits. Probably because they needed the he is dead, not really for their side projects. Nobody can write a no way they could survive that but look they did like Gimple.

The ratings were soft for the episode... Good for this season, but low compared to what I thought they would be for Rick's exit.

He is truly awful. If I weren't a Cowboys fan I would openly question how someone is able to "fail upwards" the way he has, but... yeah...

That's interesting. I would have expected them to have been much improved. It sounds like the damage is done and quite possibly irreversible.

That's my feeling too.

Folks that abandon the show over the last 3 seasons have found other things to watch or do.
