How can Dallas beat the Saints?

It seems as though Philly was creating some running lanes in the 1st half. I do believe that Saints are vulnerable to deep routes but you need to have the time.

On defense, we have a shot because we do have some speed to go against their RBs. Have to tackle well and need to get pressure without blitzing.

Would be one of the greatest regular season victories for the Cowboys.

Not sure it will make that list though.
Never know. No one gave the Cowboys a shot in 09 against the Saints and the Cowboys played their best football that season until they played Philly in week 17.

I don't mean this to be a rhetorical question. We get them in Big D, which does help only in the sense that they are scary good at the Superdome compared to beatable good on the road. Gotta play excellent D (which this team can do) and run run run with Zeke.

Everyone keeps talking about a win Thursday gets us a TIE in the NFCE. Great! Only problem is the 'Skins already got their L from the Saints. Philly too. Now, if by some miracle we can beat New Orleans, I'll be very happy to eat crow. But then you realize that a deep playoff run cannot happen w/o going through New Orleans. I'm happy today fellas, but like y'all my expectations are tempered.

I expect this to be our sixth loss, but our schedule is soft enough that it could be our only loss, although I think we'll finish 9-7, which still could be good enough to win this division because our division isn't all that good this year. We're not on the level of the Rams and Saints.

Run the ball. Dallas is good at keeping games close against teams that are probably better (or at least better coached) than us when we run the ball and control the clock and possessions. In games like that even if we don't score a lot we usually keep ourselves in the game. Not saying it's easy or that I think we're going to win or even keep it close but that would be my strategy.

Fredbeard comes back and we get copious amounts of pressure on Brees. In other words. Unlikely.

I remember it well.

Uncle Wade called a great game and Ware balled that night.

Not with this...

Riiight case we LOST yesterday with those Dak trash passing numbers??/ Who knew, man we all thought we won that game... glad you came on and fixed that for us. Good grief  You are aware that out of 5 teams with QB's passing over 300yds and 1 of them over 400 3 of them lost....right? Not to mention, this same teash QB playing for us, has won 2 of his last passing under 300... but hey Dak sucks.....

Already over looking the Skins are we? Not me. It is more important to beat the Skins. I hope the team is focused on the skins.

Yep, does not really matter if we fall 2 games back from the Skins on Thursday. Dak has to do a lot better through the air to open things up for Zeke on Thursday.

Gotta win Thursday for that to matter but the offense could only put up 22 against a bad defense giving up 27 a game. The Saints offense is the best in the NFL and the Cowboys' defense isn't.

That's a L but they still might win the East because it's the worst division in the NFL.

We wont beat them and we dont have to.
This is not.a contender but a playoff team.

We gonna beat teams before and after the saints. Thats enough.

How Dallas beats the Saints?

Send a couple of large men named Guido to his house (yes, both are named Guido), and have them take Brees out swimming with the fishes.

I've already responded to a similar post earlier in this thread...

I don't know if we fans think it's superstitious or something, but what WE fans focus on has NOTHING TO DO with the team's focus. Translation: I'm pretty sure the Cowboys are thinking only about the 'Skins right now.

But that doesn't mean we can't speculate and look ahead a little. Unless y'all think it's bad juju and we fans looking ahead to the matchup next Thurs vs. the Saints will cost the Cowboys a W on Thursday.

I could care less. I just personally won't get excited / scared about the following week until we take care of this week. We could not even beat the Commanders a few weeks ago so I am not sure why we would think we COULD beat the Saints. We can't the way we have played, they would have to beat themselves.

DWare had the game winning sack/fumble on that last drive. Sealed the victory.

I believe the saints are too good this year. Can the Cowboys win? Yes, but not likely....unless something weird happens like a massive number of turnovers.....like 6 or 7.

The Aints are just a better team imho. I honestly believe it will be the saints/rams playing for the nfc championship if they are both top seeds.

I’ve only seen the Saints play in bits and pieces. Is there defense as good as Dallas’?
