Dak Won't be able to get Cooper the ball

and yet Dak could have sealed the end of the game with that pass to Gallup at the end of the game but threw it short. Cooper's route running and YAC are winning right now. Dak is playing fine but I feel this is as good as it gets with Dak. Those passes, Dak had time to throw. He still struggles making quick decisions.
This is dumb. Gallup could’ve sealed the deal had he caught the ball which hit him in his hands. How do you blame Dak for the drops Gallup had?

As I keep having to tell people, that sideline throw that Dak threw short hit the defender (Dunbar) in the arm, deflecting it away from Gallup's hands. Not many WRs would've caught that ball.

Gallup has dropped a lot of balls. And should’ve caught that one. The ball wasn’t deflected. Maybe the defender distracted Gallup. But he still should’ve caught the ball

I'm watching the game now, and I saw that play in slow-mo from the perfect angle. It hit Dunbar's arm.

Man, the amount of people who get triggered by anything positive being said about the QB is unbelievable.

Some can’t even admit it, if he does play a good game overall.
You’re right!!! I wonder why tho? What’s the problem with congratulating Dak when he deserves it? The agenda is real!!!

Yea right. Did it hit Gallup in the hands or no ?
The right one, then the left one, as it redirected to his left from about 16 inches away. It wasn't a good throw, and if Dunbar had turned around, it would've been an easy interception.
Actually, I take it back. It never hit Gallup's right hand. After slowing it down more, it deflected off Dunbar and hit Gallup's left forearm as it went by.

Most of the long gains were short to midrange passes in which bad tackling led to inflated passing yards so let’s just be real about that. Like others have said it’s all Cooper and very little Prescott on those plays. I’m sure continued games against pathetic NFC East opponents will continue these numbers.

However, Dak’s rushing touchdown was very, I dare say, very Romoesque
Romo couldn't have made that play from the back of his ambulance

Gallup should have caught it. It’s his job as a receiver. No quarterback throws perfect passes 100% of the time. Most rarely throw perfect passes. More often it’s the receiver adjusting and making a perfect catch. Which makes the quarterback look more efficient. Are you aware of that?

Yeah, I love me some Romo, but Dak is definitely the better runner....Though I think Romo had better pocket awareness.

Agreed Tony was a precise passer and very elusive in the pocket but he ran to buy time to throw . Dak is pretty strong and hard to bring down but not as elusive as Tony has almost 1000 rushing yrds already in his career but dosent just take off and run at the drop of a hat usually waits till its necessary. When he commits look out cause he is a powerful man to try and bring down .

Dak is still pretty bad guys. Although that is a marked improvement on the straight trash we've gotten used to.

We better pray he continues driving the bus adequately, as we are a good enough team to win most nights. We definitely should not start getting haughty, pretending he is something special simply to win an online argument.

Pride before a fall.

No the argument is that Dak has not been good. He was not good yesterday. And he's been pedestrian over the last 4 games. Two throws which account for an outsized amount of his yards over this 4 game stretch is evidence. Especially when these throws were low difficulty for Dak and almost 100% incredible efforts by the WR.

This shouldn't be difficult to understand.
He missed on 9 throws. Drew Brees missed on 7 throws, Matt Ryan missed on 12 throws. Sometimes, QBs miss. But since you don't like Dak anyways, you may as well stop watching and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys since Jerry Jones clearly says he's resigning him. So...

Give it up. You can't expect a receiver to catch a ball that he has to unexpectedly stop and come back for, and play through the defender, as it deflects off the defender's arm, all while that defender is about to crash into him....and a rookie WR at that. Just admit it wasn't a good throw.

No. Just admit you hate Dak and cannot be adult enough to give him credit when he deserves it. You always have to needlessly try to diminish whatever good he does. Typical.....

It's funny when Dallas fans are wrong, they are VERY WRONG. I was wrong earlier in the year about Dak but like I said in another thread, I had to take a step back and recalibrate. I had to look at his rookie season. I had to look at Romo's failure in 10 years. I had to look at Linehan's lack of success in his career. I had to look at Garrett's ineptitude, and then look at what Sean Peyton and McVay did to their QBs. Then gave them life, that's exactly what they did.

Goff was left for dead after his rookie season, and now he's competing for MVP.
Brees was kicked off of San Diego for a yonger/stronger/taller Phillip Rivers after 5 years, and now look at the great HOF player in Drew Brees.

There was a time I would sit here and argue all day about this but Jerry Jones himself made it abundantly clear that he would resign Prescott, so that does the arguing for me. He's here to stay, like or not.
