How bad can a QB be

He had 2 dimes today that resulted in TD’s. Aside from that, Dak had probably his worst game of the season in a really important game, given the circumstances. Just horribly inaccurate all game long and once again did not secure the ball when getting sacked (O-Line struggled too, I know). Weird to say about a guy who just threw for 455 yards on 42/54 passing, but it’s true. Those mistakes are too costly in games like this.

We should’ve beat this banged-up eagles team handily today. We’re much better than them. He single-handedly kept them in the game with all his turnovers. It’s a problem. This good Dak, bad Dak game is not gonna cut it. It will cost us eventually (obviously).

Missing wide open guys is my biggest complaint. The "sign Dak to a reasonable contract" guys are OK with an inaccurate QB. Whatever.

Wentz missed wide open WRs. And had an awful game until later in the 2nd half. But, some will still excuse on Wentz not being one hundred percent after his injury, or not having an O line and/or running game. Some have blamed his declining season on the QB coach being changed. Wentz is allowed more excuses than Dak for being a higher draft pick than Dak is.

It's the interceptions and the fumble today, if he doesn't turn it over we win by 10+.

I will say that he has good mental toughness to bounce back and have the 4th quarter he had.

Very rarely does a QB throw for 455 yards and 3 TDs and not have a turnover. Almost never
But yes, 3 turnovers was too much and reduced his overall grade.

How many would be saying "now that's a real QB". If Wentz had somehow won the game for the Iggles. despite his lack luster performance in the first half of the game. Wentz wasn't even able to score at all in the first half. But, I'm sure he would still have been receiving praise if Philly pulled out a win. And a thread or posts would be made about how we should have traded up for Wentz

This. The Eagles won the Superbowl without Wentz and yet somehow...he is not to blame for the god awful throws he had in the 1st half.

I think it was the second 3rd down in the game where he missed a Wide open WR for a TD...nothing from Troy. Let Dak missed that and then lose the game...holy **** we wouldn't hear the end of it...

And Wentz was the 2nd overall pick...Dak Prescott wasn't even promised a roster spot his rookie year.

I’m conflicted. I like that we’re winning but I don’t wanna be stuck with this guy long term.

honestly, im ok to keep him next year...... isnt his deal up after next year. I damn sure wouldnt want to see us give him some long term deal for 100 million. Lets see him next year with all of these wrs for another year and then it would be his 4th year as a starter and no more excuses about him still learning.

Great effort from D? The defense gave up 23.......not terrible and probably around their average.....and it took some great plays from the Eagles to get it close but this was a collective win. I don't know what to tell you uys.

Our defense ... got screwed over by the offense with the turnovers. That 23 would have been 14 or so without our offense(Dak) killing them.
