So his rookie year Dak looked like we had found magic.
Now he shouldn't be playing in the NFL.
The coaching and management around him is exactly the same exact for Romo isnt there for advice and the OL was terrific and could protect him no matter how long he took back there in the pocket.
Now he has Moore and a terrible OL due to injuries and attitude.
Last year, no Zeke for a good percentage and we were complaining what happened to the effort of the OL from his rookie year as the personnel was the same, so he has some manufactured excuses for year 2.

So this year with a garbage OL due to injuries and lack of effort, Dak is completely exposed as useless.

So we need a new QB that can overcome coaching incompetence, a poor OL, mismanagement and no help in development that comes in for a fair price and we should see great improvement.

According to the crew on The Ticket postgame show, Romo NEVER was a help to Dak. They said that was a myth. He didn't want to help the guy who could take his job. They said Witten was the same way. The guys on The Break said it also.

This is false and was contradicted by statements Dak himself made. You also see Romo going over things with Dak live during the season.

And no way in hell did Witten not help. Don’t believe it for a second.

This was going on when Romo was the QB as well. Multiple threads about Romo this and Romo that. Myself included took part in the banter. And, it will go on with the future Dallas QB...

Course, right now, I wish Romo was still QB.. And, that is odd, because, oh man, some times that guy would make wanna punch grandmas and babies.. hehe

Said it before and will say it again.....this place is going to need its own Dak zone at some point.

This is a Dallas Cowboys forum and he’s the most important player on the team. It comes with the territory whether your Vinny Testeverde, Drew Bledsoe, Tony Romo or Dak Prescott.

The QB will be talked about the most because that’s where the spotlight rests.

Amazing, you found the exact problem and then came to the wrong conclusion. Oline is the problem. Fix that and the offense gets fixed.

I don't know if this is pure genius to purely dumb:

I love to simplify things and when everyone is healthy and they give him time to throw, I don't care if you are Brandon Weeden you will look like an All Pro. For him to succeed we need everyone in there (1st team) doing there job and he'll be fine.

I’ll tell you the difference and it’s pretty evident..they made it simple his rookie year. You hear about Luck making a quick read and throw...that was Dak. He didn’t care if you were the #1 WR or 4th, he planted and threw to the quick open guy....thus the slots like Beas getting looks..yes Ds adjusted accordingly but now we have him trying to get back and go through a progression where he holds the ball. I just think he’s better running a hurry up, quick play, short developing O

Dak right now looks exactly the same as in his rookie year. Dont compare stats when you have problems to interpret them the right way.

This has nothing to do with coaching also.

Why is it so hard for some people to accept that daks talent level is the reason he plays the way he does ?!

Don't forget that our special teams continually put our offense in a bad position. And we get no benefit of the other teams penalties as we are the team with the least penalty yards against us in the league.

1. One of the worst OCs in the league
2. Our current Oline has two backups and one backup's backup
3. No dominant receiving threat outside of Cooper
4. Poor average field position
5. No penalties to help us

It's tough sledding out there

How does Dak Prescott have less around him?

Exactly. Tons of those yards are AC taking a short pass and running 50+ yards with it.

Also the stats need to be updated to include Indy.
That stretch shows was posted by Mosher before yesterday's debacle.
