15 yards or less is a testimony to Mahomes greatness.
As far as Dak, you’ll find plenty of tape of Dak not throwing to guys open by NFL standards.
It’s embarrassing that your trying to equate the Chiefs with Smith and Mahomes.
For the last time, I'm not equating them. I'm sorry if I don't share your love affair for Mahomes or the Chiefs. He's a top 7 QB, but the Chiefs would be 12-4 with Smith as QB too, because they're better this year. I'm rooting for the Patriots, and because I think they're the better team.
I agree, it freaking kills me and I curse him up and down but then he finds a way to make up for it.
One HUGE thing Ive noticed which is quite coachable is a majority of his misses are preceded by bad footwork. Hes much more accurate when his footwork is right.
But don't you think it should have improved in 3 years? Heck 5 if you consider College. You can google his scouting report, it's all in there. Granted, he hasn't had the best coaching staff (as far as we can tell). But none of us are in that room or on the practice field. I think we all speculate on what Kellen Moore is and isn't. We don't know that Garrett isn't coaching him as well. So I will give that to him, we really have no idea on who is and isn't helping him. But I will say this: Brady has coaches, he goes to camps, there is nothing stopping Dak from getting help on his own. He had all offseason to improve his footwork.
You're like a broken record with this. When a defense is having success stacking the box against your running back how do you stop it? There isn't a running back in this league who can consistently run the ball against a defense who is only playing the run.
Zeke isn't getting a pass, most of us are just smart enough to realize why he didn't get over 47 yards.
QB is the absolute most important position on the field. I would place Dak middle of the pack. Unless Dak becomes a top 6 passing QB the chances are very slim the team wins a SB.
I guess when Dilfer was the 21st ranked QB but the ravens had the #1 defense and won the Super Bowl, that doesn't count. Your statement is just when people say unless a team has the best record and home field through out they have little chance of winning the Super Bowl even though there have been wildcard teams that have. Why Prescott has to be top 6 passing when the Cowboys are a primary run team is baffling.
.
If it was my choice Id let him play out his rookie contract and then make a decision on paying him. I think ultimately he will be worth the money but Id like to see more first.
I agree he needs to work his tail off during the offseason and get as much help as possible.
I'm bored with a primarily running team.
Bring back a primarily passing team. That's the Future for teams that have vision.
For the last time, I'm not equating them. I'm sorry if I don't share your love affair for Mahomes or the Chiefs. He's a top 7 QB, but the Chiefs would be 12-4 this year with Smith as QB too, because they're....better this year. But it's still the same Chiefs.... beat up the non-playoff teams, and go 3-3 against the playoff teams. I'm rooting for the Patriots, and because I think they're the better team.
With dak we may sniffle around 500 but we end up going anywhere fast.
So no, Smith would not have had the same record.
Last 15 games? These stats get dumber and dumber. Why leave out the first three?
Showing progression, and likely due to attempts. In the first three games Dak only averaged 29 attempts.
In the other 15 games he averaged 34 attempts.
So showing bulk stats while including an uncharacteristically low amount of attempts in the first three games would have been "dumber"
What do attempts have to do with the stat that was posted? The stat is yardage, TD and INT.
So then they wait until after next season to resign Prescott, but there are still going to be the Prescott haters who will scream at the top of their lungs to not resign Prescott. Now lets say that in that Prescott haters world that Jerry actually listens to the Prescott haters here (that would only happen in the minds of the Prescott haters) and dosn't resign Prescott. Then what? I'm apposed to drafting another QB this year even if the Cowboys had a 1st round pick so that leaves drafting one in the 2020 draft and then going again with a rookie QB. Now that's bad in and of itself, but the list is almost never ending of QB's that were drafted anywhere from 1st through 32nd of the first round that had turned out to be busts. Just because a QB was really good in college is absolutely no guarantee he will be really good or even just average in the NFL as that list bears out. So the choices are to extend Prescott now who was the NFL offensive rookie of the year and who has shown some progression or gamble and draft a QB in 2020 and hope he doesn't turn out to be another bust.
