Not thinking too much. There are guys like this all over the NFL. Josh Gordon has thrown away 100 million at least. I think there is a reason for this. I don’t think people wake up and chose weed over a nfl career.Don’t think too much man... he’s a grown man whose had numerous chances to clean up including getting the best help from the team.. you can’t tell me Jerry didn’t try counseling and getting him a bodyguard to buffer for him
Dude is a grown man who made his bed.. guess what he’s going to have to find a regular job selling cars or insurance here soon and be a productive tax paying citizen like the rest of us. Good luck bro I hope it was worth it
Naw never seen him practice just seen him on the sidelines of games hurt.He had a torn hamstring. It will heal.
Have you ever watched him in practice? He’s built like a tank.
He will retire soon enough.
Yeah, I feel horrible for someone with god given talent almost nobody else is born with who can make enough money in just a few years to pay for their kids college and financial security if they can just not smoke pot. They screw their owner, coaches, teammates, fans and more importantly their family. Stupid just doesn't quite adequately describe it.I feel for Irving and Gregory..........but I never once looked at them as a part of this team just like I never looked at as Rolando McClain apart of this team. Just like I don't look at Sean Lee as apart of this team.
Not playing in the NFL isn’t the worse thing. Probably extended years on their life by getting kicked out of the league. You guys don’t feel for them because you look at them as property. As if they should be thankful to bash their brains in every week for your pleasure. Then when they get CTE you guys are quiet as a mouse. As long as they continue to run fast for you and jump for you they are in your good graces.Yeah, I feel horrible for someone with god given talent almost nobody else is born with who can make enough money in just a few years to pay for their kids college and financial security if they can just not smoke pot. He made 3 mill last year and I’m sure at least a half a mill in every other year. Anyways it happens to over 3/4 of the league even those who are multiple pro bowlers and sign that one big extension.
They knowingly take those risks to play a game they love and make millions doing it. Especially with what we know about the long term effects today, no, I don’t have sympathy for them. Not playing in the NFL isn’t the worse thing. There are much more dangerous jobs out there that millions of people do everyday for pennies compared to what these guys make and no one feels sorry for them.

They don’t knowingly know they can potentially get CTE. Most of them don’t even know what it is. It’s the perks of getting these guys when they are 22-24 years old. Still young men just a few years removed from high school. They knowingly take those risks to play a game they love and make millions doing it. Toll on your body? I’m talking about the brain. I’m not talking about a job that can potentially break your thumb or pinky. You tell me what job you have where you risk your brain every week and I’ll agree with you.....Plenty of jobs out there that put a toll on your body. They just happened to have the best one. None of the fans like to see guys hurt, but make no mistake many of us have put our bodies through the ringer for our own jobs at a fraction of the pay. Its hard to sympathize with someone who simultaneously blows a one in a million opportunity and lets down so many people. Im a fan so of course I am frustrated and I dont see any way there isn't some selfishness on Irving's part.
We already know how you feel. You want them to jump and run for you as long as they can do it. We get it. You don’t have to sympathize with these guys. I do. I understand why you don’t. You don’t value your property. Should you? Probably not......Feel what? I hope they crash and burn. These guys were giving a golden ticket and blew it. I don't feel anything but disgust for them.
