He’s the best defensive end vs the run who accumulated as many sacks as he did.
He outsacked Mack over the span of the last two seasons. Matched his interception. Matched his fumble recoveries. And he’s made considerbaly more plays on the run game and in goal to go situations/3rd and 4th downs.

Is mack elite?
at his position, YES. Mack is not a DE to the best of my knowledge. Dlaw ISNT as good as the money he wants.Sorry, he just isn't. He is worth a big contract though and we sorely need him. I think HOPEFULLY cooler heads will prevail..its just march.

Trading DLaw to replace him with a worse player is about the dumbest thing a team with a ton of cap space that imagines itself a Super Bowl contender can do. It made sense for the Raiders, because they were going to suck anyways.
that's the problem dallas emagines theyare a super bowl contender

Trade him. Dude BARELY put up double digit sacks in his “prove it” year. He’s good. He’s not elite
well said. PLUS lets be frank, he vanished at the end of the year..ie the Rams game. Did he look elite ? NOPE.

I’d take a 1 and a 3 and laugh all the way to the draft. I love Tank but he isn’t worth what he’s demanding and those picks could go a long way to helping the next head coach be successful.
I’m already done with him. Bye Felicia.

Correction: The Cowboys aren't capable of pulling off that trade.

We overvalue our own talent so much, nobody even bothers.

Yeah. That's why I said they wouldn't make that trade.

They don't know player value because they aren't run by real personnel guys. Jerry has no idea what is fair for Lawrence in a trade and Stephen doesn't have a clue either. So players tend to fall into two categories - 1) we will give him away and 2) untouchable.

I feel like this is a good time to tell you that GMs don't matter.

I’m not going to answer everybody individually, but all y’all are smoking crack.

The interesting part is the premise they could than move up in the first for Ed Oliver. This would be extremely tempting.

I would prefer him to stay but not at #1 DE $$$. He is very good, not elite.

But, for all of the people saying “but it’s a late first if we trade with Indy. We get a “taco” in that spot.” Well, we got a DLAW after that in the 2nd round and we have a McClay

I am torn on this one
