And yet you can't predict the draft picks, the free agent signings, the Amari Cooper trade...

You just follow Cowboys news closer than other teams so you have a good idea what they'll probably do. You done fooled yourself with a sample bias.
Wait, so tell me how any of the things you described were just completely out of the blue?

All of the things you mentioned had some sort of foreshadowing.

Agreed.

I know Thornhill is very versatile. But I believe Rapp fits more of what they are going after in a SS

Rapp isn't a SS in the NFL...or at least he shouldn't be. This kid just screams stay away....yet someone is gonna pound the table for this kid....just like they did for Conner Williams last year.

Bad moves...both times.:banghead:

My God, please make this madness stop.

The Cowboys are one of the more transparent franchises in the NFL.

And they like it that way.

Just stop it with the "we are tricky" talk.

We couldn't be clever and secretive if we tried.

Clearly flawed. Annual basement dwellers, the laughingstock of the NFL!

Doesn't seem bothered by Rapp 40 times at all.......

For what it's worth, Broaddus seem to think, they could Rapp over Thornhill if

Armani Hooker 6-0-210, 4.48 40yd time, 37" vertical jump is a better choice than Rapp as he can play SS or FS. He can play OLB in pass package (did it at Iowa).

It's been said by more than a few that we're lucky the safety position is so deep this year -- I've got a funny feeling that we're about to find out. ;)

No, just not nearly as clever as people would like to assume.

No one has ever said that the FO was staffed with Gridiron Gurus! Most think McClay’s pretty good however, and Stevie’s done a pretty good job the past several years. I certainly don’t feel foolish for backing my team, so just being a speculating fan, I prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt, and simply enjoy the ride.

Every time someone posts this, I think of the kiddie coaster. Enjoy the ride. Okay, good for the toddlers. Where is the real roller coaster? We used to get on the big rides.

Y'all seriously think Rapp and his slow 40 times would have caught up to Carr and made this play Jeff Heath did to help win the game last year?

No way... No way.

Stephen needs to open his eyes and not drink the kool-aid on Rapp. SPEED DOES MATTER. Thornhill is the much better safety prospect on so many levels. It's not even close.

Then I guess we need to continue with Jeff Heath.

Noted.

Rapp is a Boss... I don’t care what his 40 time said. Dude is an instinctive, smart, tough football player and he’s good at everything Dallas needs at SS.

I hope like hell hes there at 58. Only safety I like more than him is Abram.
Count me in on Abram!

He is a bit underrated by media/fans.

He should not play FS and Rapp will likely be better in coverage.

Both Hooker and Rapp have misleading forty times. Rapp plays faster than his forty and Hooker plays slower than his forty.

Thornhill/Adderly/Rapp. Think Abram will be gone. Guess the big question will be if Ferguson falls that far, or Allen will they still go S?
