Brrrroooooo...!

Seen it twice. Watching it a 2nd time the time travel stuff seemed less sloppy than I remembered.

Overall the sloppiness of the time travel angle just doesn't hold a candle to how satisfying the movie was.

And I can't get over how appreciative I am that the movie both had a lot of unexpected elements as well as being satisfying, especially considering the monumental task it took on.

They stuck the landing and for that I'll overlook the Cap paradox.

BP is strangely controversial so I will not discuss it much.
.

I was only curious on your thoughts about that one scene.
I’ll respect your wishes.

I gotta go back to the trailers. The Clint losing his family content I remember. However, I do not recall a preview of the Steve/Peggy reunion.

Showing Steve look at Peggy’s photo in watch. It had to mean they end up together and that was my take,

There is this theory that Steve is the one Peggy married.
Meaning: it was Steve all along.

1.) Peggy doesn’t have photos of husband in TWS in the hospital by her bed.
2.) Peggy has photo of Steve on her desk in AEG when he goes back in time.
3.) husband name is never mentioned ever in MCU.

It’s goofy I know.

You read into it more than I did. Steve has looked at that watch photo in EVERY movie he has appeared in. He is so unselfish that I did not foresee him doing something for himself, even concerning Peggy.

End.... As in ... finally.... in the end ... get back to Peggy.

There's a cool theory going around that coincides with one of my own. Not sure how many of you are familiar with the character of Namor the Sub Mariner. In short, he's the Marvel version of Aquaman and their ruler of Atlantis (though more complicated). Anyway, the rights issues for the character have been tied up for year but now it appears Marvel can use him, but apparently like Hulk, in other films, and not a solo film.

The new theory speculates that the "underwater earthquake reported near Wakanada in Endgame somehow ties into Namor and Atlantis and that will be the setup for the next Black Panther film. I thought they would use the character in that second film and this new theory corroborates that, at least a little bit.

With all of the characters stepping away, it's likely that they will now begin the process of bringing new ones into the party.

I have been so pro-Namor that I have not stopped to consider which actor would be best suited to play the role. Heck, I am simply happy there is a chance The Submariner may grace the big screen.

What would you think of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson? I've been mulling over whether or not he'd be a good choice?

Huge fan of Dwayne, and even though I have no idea who Namor is, in any movie like this The Rock would probably be a distraction. I know whenever I see him in a movie, I always think of him as either The Rock, or Dwayne Johnson, as opposed to the character he's portraying. He's literally bigger than the roles he plays.

And another during one of his turns on the Avengers roster:

Good option although I wonder if he would appear too bulky as Namor, who has a muscular but slim build. One thing that would makes Johnson an excellent choice is his ability to convey natural arrogance, which is Namor's most prevalent personality trait.

Underwater Dracula! lol Seriously though, I think any underwater character needs to be leaner than Dwayne Johnson. Not thin, just more hydrodynamic. That could just be my picky nature, but making characters fit their environments gives a more realistic feel to a movie, IMO.

Question: Namor's first (post-World War II) appearance was in which Marvel comic title? *drum roll*

Answer: Fantastic Four

Yep. I am campaigning for the FF really bad.

It'd have to be done much differently than the two previous incarnations. I liked the casting in the first 2 movies, but the writing sucked, especially Dr. Doom's dialogue.

LOL @ UNDERWATER DRACULA! I have read stories featuring Namor off-and-on for 40 freaking years and I have NEVER thought of him looking like Dracula. BUT HE DOES LOOK SOMEWHAT LIKE A VAMPIRE DOESN'T HE? Maybe it is the Star Trek fan in me but I have always pictured him as an underwater Vulcan. :D

Agreed but there were three incarnations, even though the third was almost completely forgettable. Jessica Alba is a vision to look at and Michael Chiklis had much of Ben Grimm's mannerisms down but the best casting I saw out of all three films in my opinion were Chris Evans as the Human Torch and (surprisingly even to me) Kara Mara as Susan Storm. Everyone else missed the mark, although I think Michael B. Jordan did not get a fair shake as the last Human Torch as far as his script.
